President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

Off topic - there’s this parent in our after school group who is constantly trying to get people to invest in this Goat blood miracle cure. His efforts have increased exponentially since RFK was appointed. I asked him how much he’s put in, and he told me at least 400K since 2018. He says that the Biden admin was just stalling approval because they’re in bed with Big Pharma, and

Guy being jacked af isn't at all inconsistent with him believing a bunch of weird health stuff. Liver King ftw.

btw RFK sponsors a company that sells ultraprocessed food.

So for those who thought he actually believed what he said, here we are

https://www.yahoo.com/news/rfk-jr-promot...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Monday praised a company that makes $7-a-pop meals that are delivered directly to the homes of Medicaid and Medicare enrollees.

He even thanked Mom's Meals for sending taxpayer-funded meals “without additives" to the homes of sick or elderly Americans. The spreads include chicken bacon ranch pasta for dinner and French toast sticks with fruit or ham patties.

“This is really one of the solutions for making our country healthy again,” Kennedy said in the video, posted to his official health secretary account, after he toured the company's Oklahoma facility last week.

But an Associated Press review of Mom's Meals menu, including the ingredients and nutrition labels, shows that the company's offerings are the type of heat-and-eat, ultraprocessed foods that Kennedy routinely criticizes for making people sick.

The meals contain chemical additives that would render them impossible to recreate at home in your kitchen, said Marion Nestle, a nutritionist at New York University and food policy expert, who reviewed the menu for The AP. Many menu items are high in sodium, and some are high in sugar or saturated fats, she said.

I know they aren't a miracle-worker in the sense that you take them and simply grow into a freak without effort, but Liver King takes about $30k worth of designer steroids every month. I'm not exactly sure what the long term effects of that are, but it can't be good.

I have a relative that is very anti-vax and anti-big pharma. She drinks like a fish and smokes nonstop.

Its funny seeing conservatives wanting to bring a nuanced conversation about RFK, when they just blame anything that happens under the sun on DEI ...

I'm sure the long term effects are horrendous. I obviously wasn't advocating for that look or that behavior.

Again, I don't think this is at all unusual.

How is evidence that the camera didn't show Epstein's cell going to bat for the Trump DOJ?

victor thinks that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump meet somewhere to eat babies and rape children and anyone who doesn’t start with that conclusion and work their way backwards is caping for Trump, I think

I think they meet in some pizza parlor.

I think they meet in some pizza parlor.

Specifically in the basement, even though there is no basement there.

I mean, what are we even doing?

How did these chuckleheads win an election?

It's not that hard to explain. He's trying to save American truckers from the unemployment line by targeting immigrants who stepped into those jobs but have failed to integrate.

They won an election because there are a lot more struggling blue collar workers in America than internet edgelords from privileged backgrounds.

by Rococo

What do we think the odds are that this actually happens? Feels 50/50ish to me.

https://www.nbcnews.com/sports/mixed-mar...

I think this is a near lock, and it's 50/50 that it will morph into picking up migrants from Alligator Alcatraz and having colosseum-style fights on the White House lawn where the last migrant standing earns citizenship to the US.

lol "failed to integrate" and yet are doing these jobs better than Americans, sure.

They won because there are a lot of poorly-skilled, poorly-motivated Republicans in red states who can't compete in the job market without government DEI policies that disrupt the free market and artificially give them advantages over more skilled foreign workers.

DEI for truckers. Hooyah brother!

Sorry that may have come off as sarcastic but I was agreeing there is nothing to causally show the two events are connected.I was just commenting on the fact that he is the most mainstream anti-vax figure we have. The group he chaired, Children’s Health Defense, raised ~60 million dollars, and they advocate for various cooky things like anti-wifi, anti-acetaminophen, and anti-va

Lol anti-wifi.

What are the odds that RFK the lesser doesn't have wifi in his home?

Start offering over/under bets on her lifespan to other relatives, while in her presence.

trumpers have compressed the assimilation timeline into ridiculous expectations lol. Tons of first gen foreigners back in the day barely learned English if ever--their kids would be the ones who did. But that was covering decades. How many Italians etc had that grandma who never spoke English their entire lives? Now they're like jeez you've been here 3 months wtf? 😀

So US has repeatedly said in court that, despite Trump going on TV and saying he could get people back from El Salvador whenever he wanted, that they have zero power over people once they get sent there.

Now in the past couple days:
-El Sal filed docs with the UN that say that the prisoners they took in from the US are under the sole jurisdiction and control of the US. Probably so they are not on the hook for possible human rights crimes.

-Reporting today that Rubio is negotiating the return of people held in El Sal to Venezuelan, possibly in return for oil development rights.

Can’t wait for Supreme Court to OK this!

I ain’t reading/watching all that

I'm through 4 hours so far. Super boring.

never watched any of his stuff nor dove deep on him but appeared to be more of a "how can i scam/be a big youtuber" rather than "these are my genuine beliefs"

ie the guy knew he was full of it in regards to it not being the diet because that's why he was on all those steroids

dom what is the point of making a post like that if you just ridicule and block people who never applauded it but simply explained their perceived context for it happening

he was literally just continuing the conversation man...

it's sad seeing you get all worked up like this
