This is a good reminder that what’s coming out of the journalists on the ground is strictly filtered by Hamas and they use threats and intimidation to get their way. That makes the info coming out of there extra unreliable.
The article also shows that the journalists are NOT Hamas, although they are subject to intimidation.

I'll be surprised if nothing comes of it, considering the UK police are actually wasting resources arresting people for saying something which is merely seen as offensive on social media. Here it's arguably incitement from both, calling for the death of others and encouraging riots in a climate where Israeli embassy workers have been murdered in America and migrants burnt outof their homes in the Ballymena riots. I personally wouldn't have a problem with either facing hard legal consequences for their action.
certainly Death to Hamas or Hezbollah would be acceptable despite both organizations containing far more civilians than combatants. Death to the Russian Army is ofc fine too.

I doubt Hamas accepts the ceasefire. Hamas has continually turned down temporary ceasefire proposals for the last year. I dont know why they would accept this one, minus Qatar forcing them to.
For the last year or so Hamas has been insistent on complete Israel withdrawal and unlimited UN aid given to them to distribute as a requisite to any ceasefire. And as no one is offering this, I dont know why they would agree to a temporary ceasefire now.

Israel is pretty much all in on winning through sheer force/hasbara/technology/spending. At this point, they better hope they maintain control for eternity and write the history, otherwise their beloved state is going to end up as a very shameful chapter for future scholars.
That said, I still think it's possible to elect a Haarentz contributor, disavow Netanyahu, and sweep this situation under the rug until the next intifada. It will still be awkward for Israelis in hostels, but given the power of the propaganda apparatus, it might allow them to maintain control of US politics despite turning an entire generation of young adults against them.
