No, I'm just being real, I'm just being someone who understands how politics works in this country. No revolutionary would run as a Democrat or would be allowed to have gotten this far. And he'll never be allowed to enact much of his platform. This is more of a symbolic victory than a belief that this guy will single-handedly fix NYC's problems.

I haven't been to Portland, but Seattle and SF are horrendous. Seattle is a stark contrast to what it was back in the aughts. There's some great areas outside dt, but the city centre is a hell hole.
