Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the shout outs on the RW run. I appreciate it. I know y'all love a good tourney sweat even though I don't play many of them anymore. I will try to give us at least one more thrill in one of our Wynn events. I played for almost 24 hours total yesterday between cash and tourney and so let's see how things go today. Might need a break of some kind today. Maybe high roller, maybe the spa again, maybe the arts district, maybe Area 15. Don't know but let's see how it goes.
Through 4 Days:
Poker Cash Games: $ -1495 (we know that's going to turn around!)
Poker Tournament: $+2500
Table Games/Sports Bet: $-2890 (Stay out of the PIT) lol
Total: -$1885
That resorts world results was a shot in the arm and now we have 3 FULL Days plus Sunday morning desperation time (LOLZ) if needed.
The plan now is back on the cash game grind until we get out of the negative and then we take shots at our Wynn 1100 turbos !

Do you notice any difference playing with the physically larger chips? At least the 5Ks look bigger.

lol. I actually really like them. Makes you feel like you are “baller” status lol. I was able to shuffle them just fine and having stacks of them at the end was fun. I would say honestly resorts world is an excellent room. It’s super clean, well run, and the chips and cars are awesome as are the staff and dealers. They need way more love there. I might spend a lot more time there rest of the week. If you followed my reports from last summer, the cash games can be WILD there for 1/3 and 2/5. Tons of money on the table playing deep and some good fish etc.

Well done! We went to RW, but it was pretty dead. Might try one of the tourneys next trip. Wish they had regular PLO.
Okay after a nice breakfast at Jardin where we mixed it up and went BURGER at 730am, we picked up in the room a bit, when off to the spa facilities. No massage but paid to get in the facilities to use the whirlpool, sauna, steam room, showers etc.
We also hit the strip for a quick walk and a catnip break!

Holy **** we just flopped a boat in a 3 bet pot against and aggressive player and and he shows up with QUADS and we get fully STacked for 1K ! So sick ! Maybe we do need to stick to tournaments this week jeeeeezsus

That's the kind of thing that happened to me every time I tried to play Wynn cash. So I stopped doing it.
So we ended up with a nice $465 dollar win at Resorts World 1:3 NL then we came back and hit the gym before shower and catching game 4 of the Stanley cup final.
We bet 400 on the oilers at +125 and they won in overtime so we will collect on this one as we continue to battle back on the trip!
We are getting on the list for PLO which is typically where we do some of our best work so we are looking to turn around our results in the game here very late on Day 5/early Day 6.
Through 5 Days:

Plan for Day 6: 1100 Wynn Turbo Tourney tonight and hoping for another final table run! I'll grind cash during the day, probably at Bellagio, the old reliable honey pot and try to win back a couple of buy ins. More detailed recap and thoughts from yesterday/early this AM coming shortly.

Walking in here never gets old. While in the back of your mind, you know it’s the longest of long shots, but then again, someone has to win, and why not us. We sit down and find a pretty good table draw with only 1-2 really competent players. We make it through the first six levels increasing our stack from 25K to 42K by mostly playing solid and a TAG/Abc style. Table continues
A little late, but I felt like I had to do one of these to keep the tradition alive. 😀
