i was out of cali but fun hearing for the first time
apparently Granddaddy is an '92 Modesto band and Modest Mouse started in Issaquah WA in '93 before eventually drifting down toward Portland
back when the high five corridor was mostly weed and acid, not meth and fent

Grandaddy is touring 25th Anniv of Sophtware Slump this fall and Built to Spill are opening for Modest Mouse alley in the fall. Believe MM is ostensibly touring 25th of Moon. Going to both shows
