If you are going to stream content and have a public channel you can't be overly sensitive to comments. When I say that

If you're gonna comment pubicly on someone's stream, you can't be overly sensitive when they want to punch you in the face...

wtf are you talking about?A stream is a stream - they can do whatever they want, and you can either watch it or not. The problem in life is most criticism is flat out wrong - if I was streaming and had idiots throwing in their 2 cents when they knew nothing I would be annoyed by it too.

I am not an idiot; I been playing poker for over 20 years now. I been on this forum for long

You do realize most of the chat "pros" are terrible players right?

You may be a good player but does he know you personally?

Simply playing the game for 20 years doesn't say much either. You can go to any card room and find tons of players who've been playing for 20 years and are awful.

Phil Ivey or Galfond may not of used the wording Lex did but they'd still of ignored you the same.

by Noobtard

Whether it's poker or any other activity that gets streamed, no one wants someone backseat driving in their chat. If you are telling him that he's playing like ****, why are you surprised if he or his mods are negative towards you. In real life I am a backseat driver, so you post is very relevant. The backseat driving cwmies into play because I am like my grandmother who was f

Did you never watch when Lex kept showing bluffs on the wsop stream? Lex is overconfident, rude and uses way to much sarcasm. Is is professional of him to threaten me? Ivey would never steep that low.

There is no maybe as far as me being a good player. I am a winning player with sharkscope graphs to prove it. I am Aspergers which means I have focused activities.

Once again invalidation of my thoughts. You are justifying someone threatening me.

Honestly it sounds like you are overreacting getting so upset over this. If you don't want streamers to be negative towards you, maybe don't go on their stream to criticise them.

It's funny you think Ivey or Doyle wouldn't act like that. If you ever played on their table and started calling them bad, I'm sure they would call you out on it as would most normal people.

I get that you have social issues but maybe take a second to think that if you are constantly negative towards someone, maybe they wont respond positively.

There's certain streamers who are super sensitive. A certain streamer who is an 888 sponsored player basically bans anyone who dares to make a comment which isn't nuthugging.

I received a permanent ban for daring to comment on a hand in a polite way. These people aren't making money in the games and should remember where the real money is coming from when treating their audience like crap.

Sir I never said Lex was a bad poker player. He is obviously highly intelligent and has been playing poker for a long while now. I was just pointing out that on Twitch people are highly sensitive to any criticism. Lex acted like a child and said he would punch me. A mature adult doesn't threaten others when their fragile ego is in check.

I definitely agree that some streamers are way way too sensitive. That's why I like to test them out, not by making an insult or anything, just something about their game/whatever to see how they react.
If I get a bad reaction from the streamer, which happens A LOT, I will just never watch it again. It's funny how I got perma banned from this Tom_Poker guy. The guy constantly talk down other peoples game and also used to insult the entire brazilian nation all the time, saying things like they got two braincells but somehow still manages to win. A joke, he would probably tell now, even though he really didn't have that tone. So, he's on a huge downswing and making an awful play and a few comments are coming in like "you are so ****ing bad" etc and all I said was "maybe it wasn't the brazilians fault after all" and I get insta banned haha! I'm all for jokes and some banting but seriously STFU if you can't take it yourself when you are constantly berating people!
Glad I can't watch that stream anymore.

It's very tough to not only stream but deal with negative comments while you play poker - poker/streaming is tough enough let alone having trolls talking trash while you do it. Its pathetic to sit on someone's stream and talk trash - go do something positive in your own life rather then trying to take people down.

Kevmode is hilarious. Dont throw shade at him for his opinions.

If you don't want to be banned from a streamer's chat, don't be a douchebag on their chat.

It is not up to you to decide what I do with my time and life. Sitting on your behind live streaming playing poker isn't difficult. The difficult part is having a stream viewers want to watch. Spraggy is a streamer, and he is actually funny and entertaining. You are placing unwarranted judgement without anything to back it up. You are in your feelings and logic has seemed to leave your soul. Poker is a brutal and cutthroat game. If you want empathy and sympathy, go to church or seek a loved one. I don't need likes or positive affirmations my thoughts and opinions will be shared.

...and that's exactly why you get banned. The system works.

What a stupid response - you started this thread based off of your opinion and get mad when someone has a conflicting opinion? I just find it funny in life when people are trying to succeed in business or in some other avenue and you have little birdies hanging out talking **** for no real reason - it's a part of success but winners aren't watching streams talking **** all day.

Most streamers have rules and things they will allow and wont allow to go on in their own channels. very simple to just go to another channel that will allow you to critcize their game play and talk however you want about them playing whatever games theyre playing.

I agree with kevmode, most of these streamers are overly sensitive and can't take any critique of their play. Most of the people who follow the stream are just there to rub their back or complain about the bad run that the streamer is complaining about (for example Daniel Peterson) while the streamer is making bad plays but everyone who calls them out gets banned.

That's just streaming in general and not exclusive to poker. If you were to go on a videogame or chess stream and start critiquing the player, they probably don't want you there regardless if they are skilled or not.

Noobtard seems like the kind of person who donates to streamers.

I don't really watch streams and have never felt the need to donate. You need to work on your reads.

Why the need to defend a douchebag like Lex Veldhuis who is the posterboy of breakeven at best grinder who survives on sponsorship money and cant take an ounce of criticism?

Defending Lex is infinitely easier than defending Kevmode. I'll let others elaborate why.

I don't really care that much, I've watched a few hours of his youtube vids over the last 10 years and whilst it wasn't something that appealed to me he seemed fine as a content creator.

I think he should get some respect for the fact that he's had the longest streaming career and sponsorship deal. Whether or not he's a winning player, he's probably made way more than most outside of the game.

I love going on twitch and telling streamers how they should’ve played each hand after the cards are shown

The mods on twitch aren’t getting paid? I assumed they had to, they’re always online when the streamer goes live and for full stream.

Any streamer that is getting more than a minimal number of viewers will have regulars who if free will be watching the stream anyways, and can get notified whenever someone goes live, if they're on the stream it is probably because they like the stream. Most streamers will pick mods based on them being regular viewers they can trust, and most mods will treat it as a privilege and not expect anything else back. I doubt anyone outside of enormous streamers ever pays a mod a cent
