Views: What is going on with Twitch? Don't run a live stream if you can't take criticism.
If you are going to stream content and have a public channel you can't be overly sensitive to comments. When I say that was a bad call with AJo or I say u could of folded there. That isn't an incentive for power hungry mods to do what they do. So sick and tired of this on twitch and these beard neck mods overstepping their authority to put u in this quote un quote time out thing were u can't chat. This is unacceptable for these twitch streamers. The mods are incompetent and have no sense of logic or awareness. If you are against the "agenda" of the fake positivity bullshit and just go with the real life facts and details of the situation they don't take that into consideration. They then want donations and being worshiped it is weird and makes no logical sense.I am tired of the bs on twitch. Overly sensitive mods and no sense of awareness. This needs to end on Twtich. If I am reasonable and somewhat polite there is no reason for how the neck beard mods behave.

Back in the day I watched Lex Veldhuis' stream sporadically - he was pretty much the only big streamer back then. I never commented or participated in chat. But it was pretty incredible that no matter when I turned on the stream, be it a morning stream or late in the night, weekend or weekday, the same 3 mods are there, doing work for free. Happily jumping on the chance of banning any "chat pro" who dares say something critical about the streamer. Any twitch mod is a power hungry sycophant with nothing better to do in their sad lives.

Voluntarily living your life publicly but not being able to handle an ounce of criticism makes no sense.
In the case of poker vloggers/streamers- if you're minding or own business playing poker and some person is following you around telling you how much you suck then you should be angry.
If you're publicly playing then you should expect it- especially when you suck.

The real problem with Twitch isn't mods banning "chat pros" in poker streams. It's the site's moderators not banning guys like Hasan Piker for promoting terrorism.

A stream is a stream - they can do whatever they want, and you can either watch it or not. The problem in life is most criticism is flat out wrong - if I was streaming and had idiots throwing in their 2 cents when they knew nothing I would be annoyed by it too.

100%. Especially when you realize Amazon is ultimately the one signing off on not just allowing guys like him on the platform, but hes their biggest streamer. Thats f'd up when you consider the implications.
Does anyone stream without video on or are you basically drawing dead if you just have tables and commentary but you arent personally on cam? I wouldnt mind occasionally having mine on but the entire time seems very gay

If you're not safe at home do what you've got to do to protect yourself. Even if you've got to move, find a roommate and pick up a crappy job to make ends meet for a little while or whatever. Sometimes short-term discomfort moving is better than being in an unsafe situation.

KevMode has been posting on 2+2 for 16 years or so, according to his account start date He has been a generally respected poster, with good, albeit milk-toast content and discussion points related to poker and the poker industry.
(I think I met him one time at a 2+2 meet up in Las Vegas a few years back.)
I doubt he has been banned multiple times here..

Lex doesn't owe you anything. If you are being negative in his chat, he or his mods have every right to ban you from using that feature.

I am not banned on his stream. Lex said he would punch me in the face. He is very rude and sarcastic. I don't like him as a person; I stopped watching his stream because he is arrogant and rude. He threatened me so there is an issue there. Lex is just another coward who can't take critsism. This delusional optimism needs to end on twitch. He makes me want to throw up with how obnoxious and rude he is.

I will say that I've watched Lex a few times over the past year or 2, and it did seem like he was going off on someone in chat a lot more than I would have expected him to. And over seemingly harmless comments about decisions. Like, taking several minutes where he stopped broadcasting tables and cut to just his face cam to berate someone in chat.
I don't really watch poker streams and the only time I've tuned into his is when he's been on my table on PS. His streams are pretty vanilla and he didn't come across as obnoxious or rude.

I honestly don't remember because it was over a year ago. I stopped watching the stream because I wasn't enjoying it. The other poster had a good point; the mods can kick you out if you are negative or critical. There is a lot of toxic positivity there. As an Aspergers person I can't deal with Lex. People love to mock me and pick on me because of how I am socially. Whether it's poker or any other activity that gets streamed, no one wants someone backseat driving in their chat. If you are telling him that he's playing like ****, why are you surprised if he or his mods are negative towards you.
When I say Lex's content is vanilla I'm talking about the hour or so of twitch/youtube that I've watched over years which seemed pretty chill. If there's clips of him threatening you, maybe you should share that, otherwise it seems pretty exaggerated.
