One thing about those results is I always thought he had major tilt issues that caused a lot of his $500-$1500 losing sessions. If he played his A game more often he might have a significant amount more.
He even lost $8k playing low stakes after he quit a job and went pro and that forced him to get a backer. At the time it was shocking how many $500 losing sessions there were and he must have been feeling a lot of pressure, especially when he still posted on a forum (2+2) that was expecting him to succeed.
There must be a lot of low stakes regs that are really affected by the increase in rake similar to this (El Diesel has struggled too).

I wouldn't doubt if the actual numbers were 1-2k lower each year.
Trooper has a tendency to spew when he runs bad and wouldn't report his numbers.
"I'm the unluckiest player ever"
"No one runs worse than me"
Remember, he doesn't talk about his hands because he got tired of everyone telling him how bad he is. He definitely lies about his numbers so his fans think he's a great player who's just unlucky

I've played with him a lot back in the day, he clearly has some basic fundamental leaks in his game. He's not good at poker, but I think he should be winning a few bucks an hour if not for his punts when he's tilted.
He posted a long time ago, something like his top 10 best and worst days of the year. Most, if not all of his worst 10 sessions were all a lot larger than his 10 biggest wins. Those bottom 10 are destroying his hourly each year. This is a classic indicator of tilt problems. I don't respect his game at all but he should be turning a profit if he can get that under control.
Does anyone know when/what video he took the shot at 5-10 in? I'm curious to see how bad it went and what mentally broke him. Searched his channel for '5/10' but it wasn't immediately obvious.

Took a quick look, here he is dropping $1000 at 2/5 on operation uptick 8 years ago, same time frame he played 5/10 on Tuesday afternoon at Bellagio.
Happened to run across this video with Molly in it at 9 min. mark

Playing your A game all the time is worth a ton. Any half wit can at least play decent when running well. Playing well when running bad is the real test.
Timmay isn't gonna change now.

Troopers mission 3 is the second peak in the graph, around 540 on the x axis, so before mission 3 he ran it up at 2-5 and you can see how long it took him to get back above that, that was april 2017, and he didnt get over the hump of that high point until his mtt score in March of 2022. So thats 5 years later. so for those 5 years he was not a winning player.
Also not included in that graph are his main events. Also the graph isnt totally up to date, i think the last date i entered into it is like 2023 or something, so he won 347 in 2024 and like 500 this year and maybe up or down 1k from the end of 2023 that i didnt enter yet
Also if you take that score out....he is still not above that high water mark he was at heading into Mission 3
Hes a winning player at 2-5 on his vlog, im not sure its up to date but from what i have he is up like 2500 or something at 2-5
He definitely is ahead at 2-5. It’s such a small number of hours though. I don’t know how well he would do playing more hours at 2-5.

I think he was mentally broken because his relationship just ended. His gf went to San Diego before that session and a few days later he left town without her for a month.
I wasnt following him then, so all the info i have is from skimming videos to find where he says if he wins or loses and how much, so could be right.
I said i thought he was broken by it just how he acted afterward, how clearly nervous he was to play, and how he didnt even drop back down to 2-5 afterwards, which he had success at, he left town, then came back to play 1-2, said he wouldnt be just playing 1-2, if he saw a good 2-5 game hed play, but basically didnt play 2-5 again for a very long time after that.
Anyone else notice every Trooper video shows a $200 stack to start then the next hand he has $400 including a black chip?

How does Rice become so obese? For someone that seemed to have trouble affording regular meals if not for comps I’m surprised how much weight he has gained.
You said it in his name. He eats rice every day. Loaded with carbs. Brown rice would be a lot better, but he doesn't eat that.
Los Angeles news reports that at the 110 and 105 junction thousands of pounds of free pork are being dumped for Nomadic use wherein Nomads then barbeque same via trash barbeque cooking techniques:

I think he said he might even play 5-10 again if the game is good.
Just a theory that I have but I think the relationship motivated him to do the operation uptick. I doubt it had anything to do with a love for poker or anything like that.
Fortunately he found someone better for him later.
In today's video ELD reports from the hallway as well as the Flamingo habitat at night.
ELD states the flamingos are sleeping.
ELD studies the poker manual and is correct with the rubric.
ELD can speak and deal at the same time but some dealers must focus on dealing silently.
ELD never makes mistakes as a dealer.
Some dealers are tipped twice but ELD keeps tracks and is only tipped once. ELD has perfect memory.

Of course he never make mistakes, he is a top notch elite dealer-he is crushing in that department as he does in every other department of life. Health, fitness, cooking, earning money, poker pro, racecar driver, women, pokerdealer you name it Rice is a 1 in a 1000 lifecrusher you dont see very often.

Same can be said about Molly. Imagine it's that special time of the year. You are getting ready to go to your boyfriend's place to watch this special game. You put on your favorite jersey, maybe some face paint and grab your favorite team's hat.
You arrive and instead of finding a bunch of people with snacks and beer galore, you see Heat playing on the TV and your boyfriend on the couch ready to settle in for his yearly ritual.
It's Super Bowl Sunday and this Twatts is watching a 1995 film for the umpteenth time. Hope her face paint is waterproof from all the tears she shed.

Once ELD retires in two years he ought to write an autobiography to add to his long term dividends.

I feel like Molly was a friend zone situation that he wanted more out of…But entirely speculation.

Either way, you've got to give credit to the Trooper....he has had relationships with women. Some of those woman were good looking. Some of them appear to be nice, pleasant.
Trooper also LIVES in an apartment! He sleeps in bed. He has a private bathroom (shared only with his lady friend NOT other homeless vagrants), he can food in a KITCHEN (grilled, baked, microwaved, fried, BOILED). He hangs his clothes in a closet!
Most astonishing of all, the man OWNS fruit & snacks! He has a membership to the Costco!
Compared to ElDiesel, he is living an almost unimaginably lavish lifestyle!
While Trooper looks like an incredible success when compared to ElDiesel, he's got some difficulties coming up.
It appears that he is in his early 50's. Unless I am mistaken, he does not have a large bankroll, retirement account(s), investments, or properties.
Further, he is struggling playing 1/3 poker games. IF he was crushing them, making a couple/few thousand dollars a week, that would be one thing. IF he was able to accomplish that for a few years, while keeping his expenses low, AND wisely investing the savings, he might be able to have a secure future.
Making $200 or $300 playing poker in a week isn't going to cut it long term.
While being in his early 50's (and the shape he is in), he might find it hard to work in hospitality, especially as a waiter. Certainly not impossible, but difficult. It is hard to be on your feet, hustling for 6-8 hours a day. Set aside hospitality, it is going to be difficult to find employment of ANY type at an advanced age.
So unless Trooper really starts making some progress, he is likely to face a VERY difficult future.

Trooper hasn't played poker for income for years now. He's using poker sessions to have content for his YouTube vlogs to generate residual income. Selling merch, collecting ad revenue and probably under the table candy making with their customer base.
Soon he'll be posting a WSOP tourney package selling 80% at 1.25 or more. As fast as he's always sold out his packages, he should just go for 1.5 markup so he'll get paid to play while freerolling an extra 20% from any cashes.
Now he's pushing UNFINISHED merch hard to generate new revenue from the GO GAMBLE crowd. Who cares if it doesn't make sense for his lifestyle vlog or whether it's poker related. Could you imagine how that brainstorming went to come up with this? I'm sure Lady Trooper was more than enthusiastic and thought Trooper was brilliant.
Then came the design of a logo where the tic tac toe game is finished off by X in two moves. Genius logo design.

You make some solid points, but i also agree with the fact that the Trooper isnt staring into a very bright future considering his life choices for the past 10+ years.
He really isnt relevant anymore in the vlogspace (its a debate if he ever was but you get the idea),his vlog seems closer to dead,he is broke/admitted he has very small roll to work with, out of shape, havent been to the dentist for couple of decades and doesent have any higher education as far as we know.
If a couple of things go wrong, for example if Lady T leaves him or bigger health problems starts developing he is in for a very rude awakening.
But hey, at least he can boast about being his own boss and not working for the man.
