Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs

Can someone on this board do a graveyard challenge for a month playing 30-40 hours a week? Maybe skip a Tuesday night? We all know Trooper or El Diesel would not do this.

I think that is an excellent cut off & suggestion.

If somebody can't win $15K in 12 months of poker play, then they are either terrible or simply futzing around.

Of course, this amount of cash to a "pro" like El Diesel, is close to the equivalent of the GDP of a small European country. Riches of an almost unimaginable scale!

I am a bit surprised that the average salary in Vegas is $28 per hour, as that would come out to $56K a year. I know a bunch of people with GRADUATE DEGREES (who are employed in their field!) that don't make $56K a year! That is a topic for a different thread though...

guys it's really messed up that the thread constantly pokes fun at him for being overweight and when he begins showing some basic efforts we then poke fun at that

also, there is a world where heavy reps of light weights is a very reasonable approach to take

Wow that is low, I thought you had to be wrong, so I looked it up, and sho enuff, that is it. That's a little over $7.50/hour, for 40 hrs a week, 52 weeks a year.
I don't know if Trooper has exceeded that once in the last ten years.
And I don't think Rice has exceeded that in the last 3 years, since he started his YouTube channel.

As much as we like to poop on Rice, at least he has finally figured out poker dealing is the way to go, where Trooper has dug in his heals and has vowed never to work for the man again.
If Trooper didn't have his Sugar Momma (Christina) to support him, he'd 100% be homeless or living with Momma Trooper in South Carolina.

In vegas nice tatas are worth more than a degree.

If tips are not included in the statistics then an even greater difference.

I think you all missed the rare authenticity Little Timmy displayed in today's video. When you reach age 52, you can't help but think about the future. How much longer can he play? If he needs to work, how much longer can he do that? How is he going to retire when he has a negative net worth at the age of 52? The stress is really getting to him and I predict we'll see him in a real job in 3-6 months. He can't decide whether or not to do it because he's probably the most stubborn man in America. He doesn't want to give his haters what he would perceive as a loss, despite most everyone else perceiving it as a win. He'll get there.....

It's Vegas. They get paid off. If they make on average $100/day this is $700/week. They probably don't make that much.

I'd like to see El Diesel and Corey Eyring do each other's type of challenges for a week

- Corey having to nit it up at 1/3 or eat entirely off of poker comps
- El Diesel has to risk his entire bankroll every session and survive hanging out with the On Tilt Boyz

Not a snowballs chance in hell will you see that.
Only chance of Trooper ever getting a real job is if Christina runs out of money.

Trooper reckons he could play poker 12 hours a day if he didnt have to vlog.

In the last 10 years, he had multiple opportunities to do one 12 hour session of poker and he couldnt even do that

always with the excuses on why he fails. Never any accountability of his own shortcomings.

Don’t forget most games ran 6 max for months. Playing short handed exacerbates losing for bad players.

He may not even have the credits needed for a SS check.

That 30% interest on the credit card stares you in the face every month.

I don't remember seeing any ads, so maybe he has to get monetized again. But his recent video has 3800 views! I doubt he wants to give up that kind of income to play more (break-even) poker.

I think there is the standard ad at the beginning that you can click skip on after like 5 seconds. I think he is avoiding the mid roll ads until he gets rolling again.

Think of all the semi-unskilled dealers, waitresses, strippers, etc that make more than that. Vegas is the kind of place where "uneducated" people can thrive.

They sure are. The best part is, if you're halfway decent looking, but have mediocre tatas, you can BUY your way to superstar.

YT generates tax forms, I can't see him getting away with not filing the self employment FICA for close to two decades.

What kind of benefit do you earn on YT revenue after expenses?

I appreciate your comments on the make good / Carl / staking. I believe Trooper was honest and tried to repay his backers consistent with their agreement(s). My statement just noted the possible impact on his reported results vs. actual net results.

In terms of the post I quoted above, this is a great summary of his vlog history. Trooper was able to survive mostly on his waiter and dealer income, and for perhaps a few years total on YT,
Westgate MUG rake / side hustle merch sales until COVID.

Christina has likely covered the majority of his total expenses (living and business) the last five years / COVID Era. Not sure he would even survive at the Desert Manor in 2025 based solely on his solo 2025 income (YT, MUG rakes and poker).

I suspect that she would say he is working hard right now. She had really high praise for him as a vlogger. And she really seems to trust him.
