Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs
Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one witho
Looks like the puncher immediately was yelling across the room afterwards exclaiming his need to defend himself from the 350 lbs guy. Dont know who started it but he had 2 options either run away or get in the first punch. But yeah that puncher's life is probably ruined now any smart lawyer is going to sue the hell out of the puncher for everything he's got.
The puncher may not have much though. But who knows.
Trooper for sure did NOT play in last years Main. I know cuz I always buy a piece and was left disappointed last year.
He’s a patient player and I think his style works well for the Main, he’s had a few good runs hope he plays this year
One reason I asked is people on this forum freaked out over the deal he offered his followers last time, but the viewers didn’t care and were excited to support him.
He should have been playing in the Main Event every year since 2015. It would be interesting to see his results if he played in it 10 times in addition to some other events.
One complaint I have is I think he could do more exciting stuff for the vlog. One example is play in more Main Events.
I wonder how much support he would get for something like a $25k or $50k event.

After that last main event he played and "tried harder than anyone" he made a video about trying to put together another package and "show the haters". Even the troops saw through this grift and nothing came of it.
Now a couple years removed he can probably round up enough donations to torch people's money again.
I understand people using Twitter if they make good money from it. Why any pro athlete is on it is beyond me. There's no upside and one stupid comment you can ruin your career. As for the vloggers- like you said nobody forced them to live their lives on YouTube. They choose to.I would have no desire to ever do that. I don't get the appeal. But you're gonna do to you can't expect
PGA pros can get paid an extra 7 figures from the PGA Tour based on social media interaction. Pro athletes that have a large presence on social media can make millions from sponsoring a product. So for a pro athlete to say I'm not using X anymore, it's tells you how bad things have gotten on that site.
Sue him for what?
The guy twice his size squared up to fight what's he supposed to do?
Big tree fall hard.
FAFO.
I mean he's lucky he didn't kill the guy but I dont see how his life is ruined from laying someone out with one punch who wanted to fight.
The guy went down, fight was over. It's not like he kept hitting him after that.
He had the option to turn around and walk away. Instead he's probably going to jail.

I remember him talking about it but I assumed it was just talk and that he didn’t try to go through with it. People in his comment section supported the idea.
Or am I wrong and he actually tried to do it and didn’t get much support? These are the same people buying his candy or hats or whatever else he sells.

LOL Trooper sitting between Alex Foxen and Bryn Kenney in a $50k buy in. Never gonna happen but it would be funny as hell.
He should just put together a package of lower buy in events maybe including some dailies and leave it at that. Maybe include the $1000 Senior event.

It would be great to see trooper sitting between Alex Foxen and Bryn Kenney at the $250k High Roller.

He would probably go 0 for 10. Jeff Boski played it like 18 times before cashing and Trooper is no Boski.

That’s a reason to help make happen though. Who wouldn’t want to see that? Both haters and fans would want to see it.
The person least interested in the idea would be Trooper as he isn’t interested in playing in those types of games.

Wow one of the idiots that sends that other idiot money posted here? Too funny. Tim doesn't do one thing to get better as a poker player. In the ME he is dog food because he is no -EV. I would rather keep backing Raymer who us much more +EV.
Laws differ wildly from state to state and country to country. Some places you can use deadly force in response to the slightest perceived threat, other places self defence is very limited in when and how far it can be taken.
The fat guy stepped forward to him and holds an aggressive stance but he doesn't proceed on any further after that initial step so it would be a case where most places it's probably not legally justified. Doesn't mean that a good lawyer couldn't get him off though, but then again they don't come cheap.
Trooper's results were so bad during that period of time that he was getting staked that I was convinced that he could be overselling his action and then deliberately losing as it would be -EV for him to cash. With him selling 80% on stake kings it wouldn't be hard for him to be selling another 20% or more privately to his fans that "missed out" or who prefered dealing with him face to face in Vegas.
He had the option to turn around and get hit in the back of the head.
Big tub of lard charged and squared up. He got his bluff called by somebody who knew how to throw a punch.
When big tub of lard wakes up he can go to jail for assault and the other guy who was afraid for his life (smartly got that on video) should get a smart lawyer and sue for the damage to his knuckles.
It was so easy for him to get support from his fans last time so why not? 2+2 said he offered a horrible deal for the fans staking him, yet the fans put up the money super quickly because they were so excited.

good lawyer for what? someone is being threatened and someone twice his size square up then steps towards him. he has to react in real time not pause a video and see what the optimal move is.
He's getting banned from Red Rock and that's it.
Unless he's rich he doesn't even have to worry about some ambulance chaser lawyer taking a case against him. No lawyer is gonna waste their time on this nonsense trying to get "damages" from some middle class 1/3 nl player.
Tubby Tough guy got layed out and he'll be fine in a couple of days.

you're missing the part where he tried again and got crickets.
still I think with 2 years since the last grift he can do it again. Get some new Troops on the bandwagon and some old ones who have recovered from their wounds.
