Here is my prediction for game 6 of Rockets/Warriors. Super rough first half with each team having a flagrant foul. Both teams shoot poorly in the first half and the game is close. Steph and Jimmy waffle crush the Rockets in the third and the Warriors go up by 15. Warriors start yapping at the Rockets. The Rockets get frustrated and someone pushes the game over the edge. Maybe Brooks deliberately steps underneath Curry on a jump shot. Maybe Amen clubs Draymond in the head. I'll go with the latter. Amen clubs Draymond in the head. Quinten Post sails into the fray. Post, Amen, and Sengun get chucked. Trayce Jackson-Davis also gets tossed for coming off the bench.
Fwiw, I predicted LeBron would leave Cleveland in 2010, come back to Cleveland in 2014, and leave for L.A. Lakers in 2018.
Now Stephen A is saying, people need to settle down about Nico, because maybe he wasn't so wrong. lol
But I'd love someone to convince me the Lakers wouldn't have smoked the Wolves w/ Max on Ant, and AD down low. I know what I saw before this Luka trade.
Isn't Hayes the only guy who could've put some height at least on Gobert?

You'd be correct. Hayes isn't a great rebounder, but he's really good at boxing out and letting others gather. He was also, surprisingly, the #1 defensive C in the league after AD left.
I'm not entirely sure what JJ got so pissed about w/ Hayes. JJ is a good coach, but one shortcoming is he seems to have a short fuse and not a lot of patience w/ his players.
Will be interesting to see what the Lakers do. If they just give LeBron his max and bring in a few vets, they might be better next year but LeBron will also be 41.

Sure with Luka you can get to Mavs '22 or '24 level pretty quickly, but with OKC/Minn/Hou/SA in the West that may not cut it

Hopefully Amen gives Draymond a concussion or else it won't be worth it.
Send Luka to Orlando. They already have a top defense so he can just focus on offense.

As a long time Lakers fan... I was one of the few that wasn't happy about the trade. I also know what a championship team looks like, and the Lakers had a shot this year if they continued w/ their roster (4th in the west and climbing b4 Luka, #1 D and #2 Offense in the league after JJ got his rotations set). Once Luka came over... the ball movement died, the connectedness died, and the Lakers died.

😀 As a Lakers fan, Fk Boston... But Tatum plays the RIGHT way, that a star should play. If Luka learned how to play within a system, and not make it about him, he may get somewhere. Until then... it will just be more fools gold.
