NBA 2025-26 Season Thread: THE NY KNICKS ARE CHAMPIONS! BING BONG!
Lettuce NBA!
and lettuce lol @ James Harden
nuggets advancing and the LOLlakers losing, yes please
A threeway where Bucks get Lauri+filler and dump Dame to Jazz, Spurs get Giannis, Jazz get picks might be interesting to someone.
But the Bucks not controlling any of their own picks until halfway thru Trump’s third term seems insurmountable. Luka not hitting the open market killed their best chance.
JMHO but unless Chet’s been sneaking with SGA’s girl, I don’t think OKC tampers with this whatever happens the next six weeks, and if healthy only Cleveland and healthy Boston have any plausible chance against them 4/7.
People not wanting to mess with what the thunder have going. like what are the details of that soon? SGA + Chet + Williams getting maxes going forward after next year? is that feasible dollar wise? Seems so much better to pool assets and have 2 MEGA ELITE players than having 1 plus 2 secondary stars especially with the new collective bargaining agreement making spending over caps harder/impossible
"There's no question in my mind that there are multiple guys on this roster now who can potentially be the best player on a championship team, given their age," Patrick Fertitta, 30-year-old son of team owner Tilman Fertitta and ownership's day-to-day presence in basketball operations, told ESPN late in the regular season. "You don't see guys at this age be that person yet, but I have a lot of confidence that one of these guys, if not a few of them, can become that.
LOL at this. I guess there is a 5% chance that Amen turns into Kawhi, and that would be good enough, but there is a 0.0% chance that Sengun or Jalen Green can ever be the best player on a championship team.
I'm not as high on OKC as everyone else, their offense looks gross at times just like it did in the playoffs last year.
Although going into playoffs I did think Lakers had the best chance in the West of everyone to beat them, Luka clipped them last year without much help and Lakers looked good against them in the regular season games.
So their road may be easier to get to the finals and win it

I mean what do you want him to say?
We're an offensively challenged regular season team that needs to make a deal for the next big dog who is on the market?

Yeah, but the thing about Luka tho
Scott Steiner was a 7/10 wrestler at best.
Murray dropped 43 points on 26 shots, adding three steals, seven assists, and five boards—according to Basketball Reference's holistic game-score stat, his second-best postseason performance ever
jamal confirmed big time back
Murray has the most 40 point playoffs games in biggest history now. He’s a HoFer if they win another chip in Jokers career
Zero time all-star
LOL at Sengun instigating an alteration with Pat Spencer.
It's all about point differential from the previous year. Cade is +2.7 and Powell is +10.3
Last 10 winners had an average of +7.9 and the lowest was Randle in 2020 at +4.6
Well I was right about PD being a factor, but definitely didn't see Dyson Daniels (who?) winning MIP.
Cade finished +3.4
Powell +7.9
Daniels +8.3
how often would yall say the player is right when calling for a challenge? i swear it's like 10%. most of the time they run the replay the guy completely rakes him, all arm zero ball style. seems bizarre for these guys to be so wrong all the time
damn, luka strained his fat. could be trouble going forward
