After being introduced to Jay Fructose on this very forum, I've watched like 5 of his videos. Every single one is more entertaining than any Trooper video.

Watched the first 2 minutes. He's now taking his own food and coffee to the Strip rather than buying it there. Seems sensible but it further highlights that his finances must be through the floor.

He could save even more money on food by eating at Diesel's Diner. Yum.

I'm not gonna watch it, but it looks like El D busted out the visual aids for which is sure to be a banger or a video.

My theory is the trooper funded his candy business venture with credit card debt and not paid for by lady trooper.

His current bankroll is likely from the funds he got for selling the equipment for scrap value.

I’d be surprised that a guy with no verifiable income and no major assets would be able to get a line of credit that big.

They are gaming the system by being in a serious relationship and living together for more than five years but not getting married.

Yeah, I'm not saying his vlogs don't have any entertainment value. However, I have to imagine that even a half-competent 1/3 player would be able to see that a lot of plays he makes are questionable at best, especially for someone who claims to offer coaching.

Just looking at a few hands from his most recent vid (vlog #41):

-Mp opens to 3 bbs, he calls K9s in co, and two additional opponents call. On a J73r flop, when checked to, he decides that vs 3 opponents, it's a good idea to bet 83% pot. Even if you can get past his preflop decision in this hand, the flop decision to bet and the sizing he uses are both beyond questionable.

-He open limps 87o utg, mp opens to 4 bbs, 3 opponents call, and he calls when action's back on him. When sb then leads for 3/4 pot into 4 opponents on A72ss, he calls with both the PFR and an additional opponent left behind him to act.

After seeing the 87o open limp utg followed by the subsequent call, that tells you all you really need to know with regards to whether or not he should be charging for coaching.

Has trooper explained his rationale for insisting on playing only daytime poker? Everytime he finishes a session it's still sunny outside. Maybe he just prefers the company of miserable old promo grinders.

Either way, this 'unfinished business' BS nonsense is hilarious. Zero chance he ever builds a roll from what he's currently doing, unless he gets some big cash injections from either Trooper Thursday or the Bank of Lady Trooper.

Trooper likely considers it an Alpha Papa situation. There's nothing he enjoys more than beating the system.

Wonder if he feels like a dumbarse for playing in the daytime. I think the high hand jackpot only works in the evening. If you're going to pay the jackpot drop, you should be eligible for the jackpot.

I thought he said something in one of his Reno videos that he’s not young anymore, wants to be in bed early, and then something about how if there were still 2008 PH games he would definitely play all night. He’s probably just lazy but ok sure don’t grind graveyard and battle the nit diamond grinders and the slot syndicate campers with 50 mgm gold cards each, all in different names.

Trooper has enough to grind most machines but not enough to play the high variance, lucrative stuff. I’m sure all he wants to do is play that volatile stuff, which will surely be his downfall. Seen a few people talking about how good TI is for slots lately, even that LT lookalike spinqueen777 has been posting AP videos there.

Trooper and El Diesel should both make Venetian their new primary home.

The room is extremely rec-friendly and the dbl board plo bombs are an absolute goldmine.

Venetian parking is free with 4 (maybe 3) hours of play. Comps are decent and they also have free coffee and soda fountains.

Even the dustier daytime games are going to be devoid of the nitty promo grinders who populate the daytime games at places like the Horseshoe.

And it's a great easy parking garage to park at with Wynn right next door and center strip a 15-minute walk.

Dont get me wrong, you are giving solid advice for any good +EV player that wants to play in better games,but we are talking about two of the biggest clowns ever to play NL in Vegas.

She doesn't have a job but they dont have kids to keep her busy in the evenings either. Surely Troop is worried that if he plays evenings, she'll get lonely in the evenings and may develop an online dating wandering eye. Especially after her being used to being together 24/7 during the candy biz. So it looks like he's made it a point to be home for dinner and evenings with her. His "establishing a routine" reason for daytime poker play is just a BS reason to give to his viewers cos he couldve established an evening playing routine. The exception will be Trooper Thursdays.

Wow so if you think no profit, it's -195 and if you think he will profit it's +155, and they over 100k in liquidity you can bet there.

Yup, was about to say this. And he would still get comps for sitting there watching that. It’s only a couple of times an hour he would need to sit out and he won’t lose any money sitting and watching.
