I played with Trooper in Reno, I was surprised how quiet he was for constantly sharing every thought in his vlogs. He was super reserved / shy just stared at his phone most of the time. ThereÂ’s zero chance heÂ’s a winner in the game. Played weak/tight/ scared money. I saw him over limp on the button numerous times. He limped 10 J off on the button over 3 $2 limpers, flops broa

He's a roaring elephant in the vlogs and a tiny mouse in real life.

Of course. He mouths off in his videos how he'll wreck someone if they step to him in real life which means he'd never do anything. The guys who run their mouths are never the ones to be afraid of.

He isn’t there to chat and be friendly and he really hates any fishy opponents that he sees as beneath him.

What you described is how he played 10 years ago. He likes to be tricky with monster hands and seems afraid that if he gets aggressive people will realize he has a monster and fold.

The call with QQ was another “tricky” move (although he probably is passive when 3-betting PF, most low limit regs are).

I’d be reluctant to call him a nit though. In the past he would make really bad calls on the river thinking that people were bluffing him. Those situations just probably didn’t come up.

Sounds like you saw him playing his A game. When he isn’t on his A game and goes on tilt, that’s when he definitely is not a nit and can lose $1k in a session.

Thanks, you gave more info about hands than he normally gives in his videos.

Trooper states he has a secret reason for parking at the Treasure Island. It should be noted that Treasure Island has a deal wherein a person without any tier status can decline resort fees and in exchange get the room without access to internet, gym and pool.

Idk man I would be careful giving away Trooper's secrets just like that, you don't want to become another entry on his "unfinished business" list

This is perfectly said. He’s very talented and creative but it seems like he’s leaned too heavily into the shtick since winning the (deserved) blogger of the year award. It’s pretty much unwatchable at this point. Here’s hoping he scales it back.

There are so many other vloggers so that’s why I haven’t watched any of his videos recently.

Just guessing , but his secret reason might have something to do with slot machines.

There are a handful of machines in there that can be advantage played.

He would probably be better of just grinding slot machines all day;
he’s drawing dead at making a poker comeback.

Definitely comes off as a guy with a temper ( tilt monkey). A nit and tight/passive are different. You can win being a nit, I’ve played with TBC, he’s a nit. You will lose for sure long run playing tight/ passive like trooper. That’s why most low limit regs lose as you mentioned.

He’s gotta be broke, buying in the minimum (Reno is pretty much an uncapped game) and trying to squeeze out a small win.

Those same machines are all over the strip. He's parking there bc it's free parking.

He's also broke so he doesn't have the money to grind machines.

This forum used to criticize him for putting in money when he is behind and not putting money in the pot when he is ahead. It’s possible a bad money situation could make him more cautious, idk. I could definitely see him looking tight/passive.

How much did he have in front of him?

He has said before he had a gambling addiction that was so bad he wouldn’t play the machines or even video poker.

If you listen to Aero's thought process on pretty much any hand he breaks down, he comes across as a person who isn't very intelligent, but thinks he's a genius. No idea why anyone would ever get coaching from him, since his win rate seems to be purely derived from endless rungood.

Haven’t watched his most recent ones but I watched a few over a month ago and actually enjoyed his videos.

When he first started vlogging people responded to Andrew Neeme acting like he was a genius. They were so fascinated listening to how a pro thinks during a hand. Maybe Aero has gotten the same reaction from newbs and fish.

But then again even a low stakes reg probably sounds like a poker genius to newbs if he acts confident/arrogant when talking about the game.

Oh no! A parking garage scene! Quickly transitioned to the obligatory elevator scene.

He made sure to mention LT. Vlogwise, he's certainly smarter than Diesel. He can see what the people want.

Would definitely explain why he chose sleepy Reno to take LT, who has professed her love for beach vacations many times over.

Maybe for their next vacation he will take her to West Wendover on the Nevada/Utah border. They can check out all the quaint little coffee shops around there too and report back to us.

Its clear what trooper is talking about, going to TI is actually a smart move by him, no poker room, no connections to any other casino on the strip. It isnt his best move, but its better than other things he could do as a public figure. It will be interesting how he navigates this part of his life if he sticks to it. His ego will be in constant turmoil whether to pull back the curtain to own the haters, but that puts a bullseye on his back and enriches his haters at the same time by teaching them. So its a catch 22 for him. Im of the opinion that hes a complete buffoon idiot, so it will be entertaining whatever happens with him. I said many times in here over the last 2 years since he started talking about it that he wont ever be job level poor again sadly which is the magic of the trooper. If i were him i wouldnt even play poker anymore, its a complete waste of time for him. he doesnt like it, and it is -ev and takes away time he could be doing his secret thing that is very +ev. Westgate notorious for booting people, he should be careful there.

Im in macau, when im home ill get his tracker fully up and running again.

Autism is a disability.

Assume you are referring to Rice. If so, diagnosed by who, you?

He reported that he dominated academics for 2 decades, this was not before the awareness of autism. Has anyone ever asked in the comments whether he believes he is on the spectrum. Would make an interesting ddition to the next instalment of mean stupid wrong comments

You mean TI? Been 86ed from there more times than I can count

The high limit double deck blackjack games there are a real sweat shop.

Y'all haven't played much in Vegas if Trooper is bothering you. There are almost always 2-3 regs who buy in for $100. When they double up, they swirch rooms which is what he should be doing. Will become easier when PH and CP reopen. At least he doesn't min buy.

Frankly, I think he is being smart. String together smaller wins until he rebuilds a more comfortable bankroll.

A lot of people have suggested it.

Autism has nothing to do with intelligence.

Autism spectrum disorder, or simply autism, is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by repetitive, restricted, and inflexible patterns of behavior, interests, and activities, as well as difficulties in social interaction and social communication.

Bill Gates has said if he were a kid today he what have been considered on the spectrum.

It's certainly possible. Maybe even likely. But it is still unconfirmed. The way he acts he is definitely fair game for abuse and i wouldn't put clowning on him in the same category as being mean to disabled people

by parisron

This is a painful watch. The way he obsesses over prices of everyday items as he is needing to watch every dollar shows he is clearly broke af.

They won't even let you play on high limit anymore without a car for ID- been that way since covid.

I've been backed off a bunch including on 4 different cards.

They won't even let me flat bet anymore.

But a clown like trooper doesn't have to worry about such things.

No after ten+ years of failure as a poker "pro" he should basically do anything but play poker.

If you have to hit an run when you get to 100 BB you need to find something better to do with your life. It's a waste of time as a money making endeavor.

I mean MAYBE that makes sense for some 21 year old kid trying to build a roll who has some potential. Makes zero sense from a complete and utter poker failure.

He's not being smart he's being stubborn. Smart would be getting a dealing job. But he "doesn't work for the man"
