lol goddamn

I have to imagine he'd be more well-received if anybody could understand what the hell he is talking about

by d2_e4

This. I was also shocked to discover not only a hit but a definition upon Googling it.

Jal, where on earth did you hear this word?

Famous for being the longest non-technical non proper noun word in English.

People used to think it was the stupid antidisestablishmentarianism but that seems like a double negative contrived to make it extra long.

Yeah, sounds like establishmentarianism to me.

My response: many of you guys are over socialized.

Fitting in + being well liked should be the highest value for children, not for adults.

Life calls us (especially men) to go beyond social reality. Many of you guys have clearly missed the call.

Yeah, as per usual, I (and I suspect everyone else) have no idea wtf you're talking about. You think people are criticising you because they want to fit in? Damn dude, how far do you have to have your head stuck up your own ass to think "all these people are criticising me for the same thing, it must be because they are trying to fit in, not because their criticisms are valid"?

This is an astonishing criticism of posters on what began as a poker forum. Poker players, especially internet pokers players, rarely are accused of being oversocialized.

As usual, I have little understanding of what you mean by this statement. If I wanted to go beyond reality, how would I do it? Should I start using ayahuasca? Should I go in search of the Sorcerer Supreme like in the Dr. Strange movie? And why is it especially encumbent on men to transcend reality?

I heard LSD works, well, at least it did for Ted Kaczynski.

You’re so bad faith in your responses to me I shouldn’t even bother, but you can simply scroll up and observe the objections to me:

“People dislike when…”

“He would be better received if…”

Wtf is your point And why are my responses bad faith... I assure you I meant everything I said. You understand that criticising another poster, even in rather harsh terms, is not the same thing as posting in bad faith, right? Right?

And why is it especially encumbent on men to transcend reality?

*Transcend social reality.

Why do men need to lead on this? Contemplate it. You’re a man, right? Figure it out.

You don't understand what the **** I'm talking about? You're a man, figure it out!

High expectations for sure, not sure men are especially known for that skill

How did that word ever come into existence? I assumed that it was made up, but apparently it is a real word.

It was made up, but it's in the dictionary anyway.

Aren't all words made up?

No, some grow naturally on the vine.

Aren't all words made up?

not the ones in the bible, duh

I believe you are using a very loose definition of "famous".

When it comes to problem solving, females are often focused on the question rather than the answer.

This why talking / venting about the problem is often equated to solving the problem for them in their mind.

Actually solving some problems can be risky and dangerous.

Masculinity is associated with actually solving the problem.

So, alpha dawg, what problem are we solving today? Your apparent inability to communicate like a normal person? You're a man, right, why haven't you solved it already?

Much of political activism is about “raising awareness”, which from the female perspective, is synonymous to actually solving the problem.

Again, big dawg, what problem are you trying to solve?

The male equivalent to this is getting stuck in the endless loop of preparing to solve the problem.

“Once the answer becomes completely clear, then I’ll act. Until then, I better research and prepare more.”

Did you just short circuit with all that big dick alpha energy, dawg?
