I dont know your living arrangements but you can very often find washer and dryers on FB markeplace for free. Or you can find like 5 of them near you under 50.

what's the point of being as rich as the USA are if normal people have to do ****ing laundry ????

one of the first things you do as soon as you have over average money in normal countries is to hire servants to do that.

didn't you let so many millions illegals in exactly to have cheap servants?

The Colonel is not wrong. Laundry is torture, almost as bad as wearing masks.

I don't know. Since I was a kid I've put my dirty clothes in a hamper and between 3-7 days later it shows up clean in my closet.

Note: My wife and mother hate that joke.

imagine being quadruple boosted and still wearing a mask.

not all heroes wear capes, but all who wear masks are heroes.

It's a solid joke. I too have a magic hamper, but my wife has a magic sink.

my wife has a magic sink.

Is this some new lingo the kids are using these days that I haven't heard about before?

Only the very wealthy are able to afford fancy dinners and vacations in the US. There are non rich people who go out to fancy dinners and go on vacations but they are in major debt.

You must have a dishwasher.

He has a magic hamper. When he puts clothes in there, they just somehow wind up clean in his closet.

My wife has a magic sink. When she puts dishes in there, they somehow wind up clean in the cabinets.

I've got those but I need dry cleaning

by Dee-Equalizer

Thats steep. How much is regular washing etc? Why do you want to dry clean?

All my nice shirts have been worn and it's time to get them pressed and hung up in plastic bags

Regardless, the last time I was paying for dry cleaning which was a couple years ago it was maybe like 2.75 a shirt. $8 is lol. I actually did laugh at them and told them I'd be calling around to other places and the next place quoted me $5. I'm holding out for something in the 3s.

Yea you don't need dry cleaning for that.

Im curious how a #s guy such as yourself determines that its +ev to spend even $5 on a dry clean.

I could buy 5 stephen king paperback novels at my local librarys dollar bin and have a 100 hours of paper sniffing book reading when i retire and you want to gentlier clean a shirt?

It's because I'm not a fan of ironing and I have a lot of nice button-down shirts that I sometimes need to wear.

Yeah, do your thing. I just throw my shirts in the dryer for a couple mins to de wrinkle but I'm kind of a redneck in certain ways, i think.

Redneck is the new normal.

by zers

Redneck is the new normal.

Now slow down a little. There's nothing normal about figuring out how to turn lawnmower parts into a working generator or using the steel drum of a washing machine as your new fire pit to entertain the neighbors.

We are the useful ones when the wifi goes out.

There’s always interesting stuff that gets buried under big headlines. Let’s see how it goes.
