El Diesel's parents are commies that have taught him the way of grift. All hail Kamala!

Mariano started taking 1/3 seriously a few years ago and is now in the nosebleeds. Same with Rampage.

Rampage is actually playing too high. Don’t see that as often with the vloggers. The only other one I remember playing too high is Priestly from a while back when he was playing 2-5 and would have done better if he played 1-3 or just quit poker.

Trooper played too high anytime he played above 1-3 but I think he realized the stakes were too high for him even if he didn’t want to admit it to himself.

Oh yeah forgot about Marle.

by arcdog

We have a new Vegas vlogger - a quite pretty young Aussie lass who plays 5/10 at Wynn. Definitely a promising start.

Thanks, I missed this before when I was skipping past the El Diesel posts.

She started taking poker seriously at 1/3 a couple years ago and now plays 5/10 and 10/20. El Diesel started at 1/3nl 7 years ago and now plays 1/2. Pman started at 1/3nl 3 years ago and now is busto. Lol

Too bad she didn’t start vlogging when she was playing 1-3.

Trooper was a savant at reading people. That's what made him the best server in the greater Jacksonville tri cities within area. He would have crushed 5/10 with his freakish skills if his addiction didn't keep him down. Imagine blowing most of your bankroll on Starbucks every week. At least he got some nice shiny yellow teef out of it .

New Vegas vlogger popped up on my feed. He's actually an admitted losing player at 1-3, stuck around 15k lifetime however he got a coach who apparently crushes 2-5 at Wynn. The channel is his journey from losing player to a profitable player.

But here's the difference compared to the other low limit Vegas vloggers we've had. The Troopers, Bikekings, Pmans and Diesel. He's willing to check his ego and learn from his coach who seems to know what he's talking about and conveys good information well.

This guy has a shot to do well at 1-3 eventually and maybe even move up because he has the right attitude off the bat.

How many times have we heard Trooper say it was a good game and then say he lost heaps? How many times have we heard Pman say he played great and then say he lost?

This guy tracks his sessions to the dollar so he knows how much he's losing. But he's not attributing his losses to "good games" or that he played great and ran bad.

I wish him luck cause 1-3 in Vegas is soft and beatable for $20/hr plus. The low limit Vegas vloggers we've had make these games look like it's full of wizards.

It's a miracle that TBC has managed to survive as long as he has without going broke, being such a massive tilt monkey.

It can be a good game AND you can still lose. They aren't exclusive. You can play well AND lose.

Sure.your biggest wins and biggest losers generally come in great wild games. But he'd only have big losses or small wins in these games.

Last thing I would do after a big losing session is go play online blackjack. I literally thought he was doing this grinding thing right and could potentially take pman under his wing, but after reading that post he is just one lucky bastard and has the same tilt issues as pman.

He's a tilt monkey and a good example of why casinos are so dumb when they back off most card counters. Most People can't handle variance of something low edge with high swings.

Forget online BJ but TBC will count cards at blackjack in casinos.
While I'm sure he's not elite at it,he knows the count, knows how many decks are left and probably knows a few deviations.

But it doesn't matter. When he's up or on short money he won't put the big bets out when he should. And when he's getting his teeth kicked in he fires them out regardless of the count to try and get even.

Him being banned from the Vegas local casinos that spread DD 3-2 games has kept him from going busto.

Oh yeah, he does this sort of thing quite regularly too. He will do a self destruct session that will either get him even more stuck, or occasionally gets him unstuck. It doesn't seem to take much to trigger it either, one bad session of poker can be enough, as in this latest example.

Yeah. I think in general, people on the spectrum can have the skill required to profit from gambling (poker, blackjack) but more often than not they will lack the self control and emotional intelligence to handle the swings and the variance involved.

Seeing his comments on X he swears that if he never played blackjack and video poker at age 30 then his bankroll would be at 300k

This is why it’s very important to have an anti-fragile mentality. When the you know what hits the fan, you have to have a strong will and bounce back from the unfortunate circumstances. Both pman and TBC have proved time and time again to crack when any negative variance happens.

However, I do have to say it’s much more difficult in counting cards than it is in poker.

except tbc has been living for the past 15-20 years from poker.

TBC is 100% degen but he has a knack for being able to lock it down when things are dire.

Pman is a lifetime losing player who has likely never had a profitable month in cash games in his life.

Tbc is in a different league compared to pman in terms of poker ability.

Got to admire the unvarnished honesty from him given what we're used to in here.

Low-key disappointed El D didn't pull the trigger on starting that YT channel of him illegally walking around college football stadiums

TBC had around 30k 7-8 years ago. Based on that he has been breakeven since then.

They give us a look at what the regulars are like at the lowest stakes and we get to see why they stay there. If you listen to them it’s because they take all those bad beats.

If they could just figure out how to play without taking any bad beats they would be destroying 10-20 NL right now.

I wish he would track his expenses down to the exact dollar like El Diesel does. I want to know what he’s paying for shelter monthly.

by Koshka

Wow this guy actually admits he is a losing player. At least he has the humility to get step 1 right, which is admitting the problem.

That may not seem like much but it’s an impossible thing to do for some people.

This is an urban myth,
that for some reason, won't die.

Okay just listened to a couple of hands and wow this guy is terrible. No wonder he lost so much at 1-3. When people say 1-3 is soft they are talking about players like him as a reason why.

Seems like a nice, humble guy though so hopefully for his sake he improves.

If he's been paying his expenses, "break even" is not a good description. He's profiting off poker and getting by on life on it. And that's more than a lot of people are capable off regardless of their job....
