ELD drives to Arizona taking a cigar break on Friday afternoon seeking pizza and to play at Talking Stick poker. However, ELD is on a race against time since ELD must get back to Vegas by Sunday for his reservation. Things take a turn for the worst when the Arizona restaurant is closed and Herbs and Rye must get to tournament by Saturday. Herbs and Rye gives ELD a bottle of water since ELD always appreciates a good bottle of water.

You’re onto something. I’m sure his father somehow got rich off capitalism and is telling his son to go MAGA. Pman says he wants to have freedom and just play poker whenever he wants to. That is more on the hippy/liberal side and deviates from what his father taught home. Yet he refused to go put in the hours when he had nothing else to do. He should have been getting at least 30 hours a week of live cash games. If I were in that spot I would dream of that scenario.

I would actually bet that Pman's dad is on the left side of the political aisle. His appearance is symbolic of a lefty, and left-leaning parents tend to baby their children and take a hands off approach, wanting to be their friends rather than a parent. I do know a guy like this that has left leaning parents. All throughout childhood and high school he was able to do whatever he wanted with no curfews or consequences. His parents paid for his college which took him six years to get through with a horrible degree. He lived with his parents till 35 then moved in with his gf to a house that she inherited from her mom. However this house is in downtown ghetto Dayton Ohio so he is living there at 40 years old.

He had a part time job at the Air Force base and now he’s just living cheaply off his GF.

It shows a good return of the parents investment that now their son gets 50% of the house and place to live by supporting him. until he landed his woman of net worth. Had the parents not supported him he would probably have been unclean with unkept hygeine and possibly pocket bread such would decrease his attractiveness to land a higher ranking woman with means.

It is ironic that a capitalist city such as Las Vegas is the only place a homeless person can survive because in other areas of the country homeless people are fined and put in jail but here they get $8 rooms and comped meals. By avoiding the fines and jail time, it at least prevents negative net worth and allows a nomadic person to have a slight positive financial existance.
