Super Bowl 58: #3 Kansas City Chiefs vs #1 San Francisco 49ers (-1)
Popeyes is so much better than KFC and CFA isn't even in the running
Props to srm for keeping it together... We've seen many a fan turn to the darkside.
Anyone that would choose KFC over any other chain chicken place is either mentally handicapped or has the palate of a 12yr old.
Mahomes passing 333 and rushing 66 ... just a tick shy of 400. I was hoping that was a QB rushing record but it's second to Hurts 70 last year
anyone got a take on the deferring in OT? (taking out the "is defense too fatigued" factor)
my first thought was its dumb but if the rules go to sudden death after identical scores for both teams that might change things
havent thought about it much before 20 mins ago
Now I realize I have never eaten at Popeyes, we only have one clear on the other end of town.
I think they need to get him another major WR weapon going forward. Boy they barely got there at every stage this year. Tremendous.
I'm with ya but I think they're a ways away now. The o-line needs help. Hargraves, & Arik slowed down at the end of the season so I think they'll need to acquire another defensive lineman..
9ers would have gotten a free roll if they held KC to FG.
Results oriented thinking going on here but some research into all reasonable permutations may be warranted.
you might be right
one thing that seems obvious is if it goes TD/TD and then goes to sudden death then it is obvious right move for the 2nd team to go for 2 and try to end the game
The offseason begins now. Last years offseason champs New York Jets. Goodluck to all hype making teams for your offseason splashes, cause when Sept rolls around its over. Sell those jerseys and tickets. Goodluck to usuals Cowboys, Bears, Vikings. My money on the Jets again. Big splash signing, going back to back.

I mean it’s a very different conversation if Jones doesn’t get Purdy on 3rd down. Niners defense was playing well enough that I could make sense of giving Purdy less pressure and giving the defense more time to catch their breath
Jones, btw, was the mvp

There's basically no way the phantom third possession offsets knowing what you need in a game like this. Also, if you think you're getting the ball back the opponent can (correctly) just be like **** you and play more aggressively on 4th.

yeah regardless of what right answer is thats not much of a critique of shanny for me anyway, just more of an overall question/discussion (as i said, I think the fatigue factor is probably pretty big here so cant just go straight possession math)
obviously the 3rd/4th down and 4 at end of regulation is my main shanny critique (even not giving CMC ball more i dunno, easy to call plays after they happen, not like he was ripping off 7 a carry)
outside of one play, did CMC ever not pick up at least 4 ypc?
One thing is for sure. The Cowboys and Jets will always suck.
Swift runs so ****ing good its unreal. She wins album of year and then her bf wins a sb. They are gonna be ****ing until 6am.
