And Trooper claiming he was never interested in playing 5/10 NL. I guess his foray into 5/10 NL wasn't out of interest but instead a desire to see what color chips they use.

Of course Hamster97 is claiming that kind of BS _after_ he has officially failed at poker and accepted his faith going into the selling lollipops business.

Not just that, he has completely stopped playing outside his own game for the past months because he cant beat the games and cant keep losing money due to ultimatium from Lady T and her family.

I think Trooper quitting poker outside of the Westgate is twofold.

One, he was wasting his time playing since he's breakeven at best.

Two, making candy and keeping up with orders is extremely time consuming. It got to the point where Lady Trooper needed help.

You have to understand. For sharp entrepreneurs, they would have a system down to produce the candy in bulk as efficiently as possible. Then you have the Troopers.

You don't have to look any farther than how Trooper produced his vlogs. A 10 minute vlog that took the whole day to produce. No doubt, quality editing takes time but it shouldn't take as long as it does Trooper if you had a plan going in. It was literally the same story. Wake up, make coffee, maybe an errand, go to the Strip, video while walking to the poker room, play poker, results and some words of wisdom. Every single vlog.

At the startup I work for, we pay $50/month for an AI assisted editing tool that lets us crank out 50+ video variants of one long form video and turns it into various short form reels, shorts and "vlog style" clips and it takes 30-90 minutes tops.

Dude details his number of trips to Wawa along with money spent at Wawa but no mention on how did as far as making money playing poker. I question if he’s even making the $14/hr on average he claims.

He really needs to go back to working part time at UPS, imo, and use poker as a side job.

Exactly!!! Inflation doesn’t affect rake, hotel prices, gas, food costs, car insurance rates, sardines, cigars, youtube revenue, rewards programs, gatorade, baseball games, etc….

Trooper isn’t interested in playing 5-10. Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme aren’t interested in playing 1-3.

She would have to admit to everyone that she was wrong about him, the critics (maybe even in her family) were right, and that she wasted 6 years of her life with him.

She would be lonely and Trooper probably tries to make sure she doesn’t meet other guys, so she won’t have another guy to jump to.

Trooper has shown that he wants to be with her forever so there’s that.

The 5-10 regs playing with Trooper were stupid. He complained about some of the poker lingo they were using at the table and it probably made him feel like a fish.

Trooper wasn’t a fish at 1-3 in my opinion (at least back then) but he was at 5-10.

I wish his followers would pay for him to play some 5-10 sessions since they love giving money to him.

Even worse you have to sign up on his patreon page, so you have to join that too.

The best part about trooper foray into 2-5 and 5-10 besides him obviously being scared out of his mind and mentioning in like 20 times during the vlog, was him letting us in what he actually thinks with the quote "i shouldve already been playing 5-10 anyway, but lets not get into that". That line gives away his later denial now that he never wanted to play above 1-2.

Why would he do operation uptick if he didnt want to play higher stakes to begin with?

Also the handful of times he shot took at 2-5 only to drop back down a short time later, also tells the tale of him actually wanting to play higher stakes but not being able to for whatever reason.

I do think he will have his best year financially this year though

That 9.8% is every year. I will happily give up 17.5 to get that dividend.
