I haven’t played with him in probably 7 years but I don’t remember him short stacking. I think he bought in for$300.
Lol he only ever buys in for $300, even now. Diesel is a ratholer not a shortstacker.
Also, diesel could easily get a teaching gig and dump all that money into dividend stocks, while still getting the summers off to play poker or deal in Vegas. He doesn’t want to do that because that would eat into all his free time, he only plays poker an average of 5 hours a day, 10 months out of the year.

Wait what lmao. This was one of his 2024 resolutions. Everyone points out every year that he could deal poker (which if he kept his mouth shut he'd be very good at) for 6 weeks and make 6 months of his "salary" and then **** off and watch King of Queens reruns in a shared Air BnB for a few months.
Him (and Trooper) avoiding dealing at least part time is the most tragic and hilarious part of both of their stories.

Have you seen the state of education lately? They will hire anyone that can fog a mirror and isn’t a sexual predator. My friend who is exactly like diesel, with an even longer and more disgusting beard, has been an adjunct at two colleges and a high school English teacher in the last 5 years. He gave that up to be a part time adjunct and go back to school to get a doctorate. Both of them went to prestigious schools, so that will help a bunch too compared to a public school applicant.
She would have to admit to everyone that she was wrong about him, the critics (maybe even in her family) were right, and that she wasted 6 years of her life with him.
She would be lonely and Trooper probably tries to make sure she doesn’t meet other guys, so she won’t have another guy to jump to.
Trooper has shown that he wants to be with her forever so there’s that.
She has made the same mistake in the past.

But the older you get the less energy and motivation you have. And if your new partner is better than the previous you get complacent thinking if I upgraded it must be perfect.
I mean they seem happy and things are going good, but are they actually making 4 or 5k net profit a month to be split between them, I highly doubt it, and if that was the case, they would be set to go over the cap for cottage.

Selling out means they can raise prices and increase volume.
It looks like they should ditch the suckers that aren't selling and take too much time from the big sellers.

As a fan, what did you think of my "lab" segments where i went over some hand histories? I"m considering bringing it back. I will never be one of the guys who films at the table though. Its oversaturated IMO and not something I enjoy.

Id agree with this. You seem like a nice guy. I just don't think being a poker pro is for you at all. I've been wrong about many things before but my track record with both real life friends/ acquaintances as well as poker vloggers has been pretty spot on with this kind of thing.
Of course at the end of the day what will matter for you is your results at the tables so good luck.

I think your knowledge of poker is there, but the difference between crushing and spewing can just be one or two split second decisions made in real time that's either from being tired or tilted. Crushers either don't make these split second mistakes..they either know when they're tilted or tired or they're just immune to these things because they are not from this planet.
What most players should really do is stick to the basics, fold pre, play in position, isolate, and not play tired or tilted. Easier said than done.
Studying is imortant but it means absolutely nothing if you make 1 or 2 punt moves a session. That's just fatigue/tilt issues, not a studying or knowledge issue.
It would be helpful to share stack sizes in your hand histories as that makes a huge difference in how a hand should be played.

saw some valid questions yesterday regarding why he doesn't post his hourly or year end profit if he goes through lengths of explaining expenses and its deleted now.
As much as we criticize Diesel, the scary thing is as far as ranking Vegas low stakes NL vloggers by win/loss rate, it goes Diesel > Trooper > Pman.
