I have not heard that term in nearly 40 years. I grew up just north of the bronx and used to go to the yankee games and sit in the bleachers. You could always count on a couple of people selling "supah joints" for 2$ per.

got out of there when i graduted hs in 84.
meanwhile, this kid is taking over the space. best new vlogger by far. funny, interesting, just enough poker clips mixed with straight up insanity. i can't tell if he is a legit player like taking himself seriously, a degenerate mixer, or just wants to tell a story even if made up. i'm not saying i doubt his story but the way the "I gambled my networth" series is told could be just highly edited fiction. still watchable, i wish i had seen it from start to finish, but he posted the videos out of order. i could easily see these going viral. storytelling and ability to make 'must watch' content up there with jaman, depaulo, slow poker...

A friend of mine in Chicago (during the mid-1970s) lived across the street from Comiskey Park's (White Sox) bleachers entrance. The ushers would let us in after the start of the 3d inning for free because my friend was from Bridgeport, even if we were damn, dirty hippies.. Joints were passed surreptitiously for free among the crowd, a different era. The rules were, no glass bottles and no Cubs shirts.
I am a big Rampage fan, and think he is great in so many ways but this was painful to watch. Tilting+playing so so bad.
He need to take a deep breath,possibly step back and take a break from poker to get his headspace right.
Rampage is usually feast or famine ... his style has got him some great wins, including tourneys. Mariano is where it's at for stability and long term results.
