Started a €150 to €10k Holdem challenge
Yeah so been out of poker for a few months due to personal and financial reasons, essentially had to withdraw my old rol
Nice results and nice redline. Can you please share your position stats including redline winnings? Wondering where those non showdown winnings are generated 😀
1. Steal a lot, like a **** ton
2. Bet and raise thin, a lot
3. 3bet a lot
4. 4bet a lot
5. Make capped ranges fold, using ridiculous sizes if necessary
6. Bet a lot large or OB merged to 'catch' bluff catches
7. Don't bloat pots by calling too much against uncapped aggression multiple streets, especially OOP
8. Almost sure there are not a lot of nodes where I actually overbluff, more like people usually overfold, hence the redline
Those are my 'red line secrets'.
Honestly don't really care about any lines apart from the yellow and green ones.
Thanks for your inputs.
Do no remember how it is with PokerTracker, BB/100 means big bets per 100 or is it std big blind?
Im playing currently nl2, but I am surprised how you are able to make them fold, not sure whether difference is that huge between nl2 and nl10, but to me it seems like it is impossible to fold if villain hit anything from board, most of pots are multiway etc.
For instance if I steal wide from btn or co I am often on flop with trash like A3o (bad equity) trying to fold some calling station etc.
Same with 3betting for instance vs steal, I often end up with 2 overs on flop trying to fold someone who does not fold, even worse on wet board textures.
Is player pool that different? Are you adjusting if there is someone really loose? What stats/samplesize you consider important in hud - wondering how you identify good target for bluffing on micros.

Yes there are pool differences, but I usually stick to individual player stats and adapt accordingly. Never played 2NL though. You can open almost ATC if blinds almost never 3b and the opposite if they're very loose. But even against sticky players we got position advantage if they just call a lot, and by river most super wide ranges miss their "outs" and start finding folds. Too complex to explain comprehensively in one forum post, but you get what I mean. I'm not saying B75-B125-jam line is good against a river calling station with air, but we can and imo should find the courage to do such things seemingly very thin as well. Pretty complex topic to talk about, but I personally don't really care where the red and blue lines are going as long as the yellow line goes up.
That being said, I'm pretty terrible against better regs, or break evenish after rake at most.

A mini downer break evenish period behind at cash since the start of the 'challenge' 2 weeks ago. Still overall pretty much on line with previous results so quite happy. A few frustrating days behind but a nice heater today. MTT's about BE now, so overall about 4% of this challenge now complete. Think I'm just gonna do cash NL10 and some NL20 for now and start doing MTT's as well again after some run good at cash
Up 550 at this point cash games. Did take some 20NL last 2 days but sucked there as usual. MTT's up about 100 euro, no jackpots but not too bad either. Annoying since I've had a couple of super sweet runs but always fell short somewhere like spots 3-5.
Very happy with overall cash though, around 20 evbb still after all, so I guess just more grinding.

Dead game indeed.
The site is indeed a soft one. Anyone profiting less than +100 buyins a month EVERY month up to nl20 is imo a toiletreg. Comes down to volume obv. Sure you wouldnt have any problems with this. Toptier regs print out a solid 200-250 buyins every month. Gl with the grind!

I personally know other regs on this particular site with close to 20 evbb/100 at 20NL and 12+ at 50NL over significant samples, so I would say you're not wrong. A lot of 200NL regs on this site go down to 50NL often because of lack of action as far as I know For me I think I'm just lazy and should put in much more volume and take shots more aggressively, but otoh I enjoy playing less tables, being observant, and only when I feel good 😀
20evbb/100 confirmed doable also at 50nl. I know a guy with 2M sample there with 29evbb/100. 200 regs do come down occasionally. Have seen 500 regs joking around there as well. 100nl also beatable with 14evbb/100 if table selecting and playing during peak hours+ weekends.

OK yeah so now I think I took a troll bait
OK yeah sorry. I've just seen quite a bit troll comments like this after sharing some graphs. 29 evbb/100 is crazy, but after all, on this site table selecting/bum hunting I don't see it impossible if you're really site specific MDA studied.

Ur doing really well on ur stake. Dont be afraid to take the exploits even further. The fish are really bad. It is not uncommon to get called by 1 pair hands if you shove 100bb to a pot of 10bb for example.
