HU Challenge PLO 4c/5c/6c: $50.000 profit in 5 months!
Hello everyone,
I am Beni, I play 6-card PLO professionally since 2021. Some of you may know me as the 6c headcoach for the PLO Mastermind, in which I released the world´s first

In 2026, I decided to shift my entire action to HU poker. I have suffered some terrible results in 2025 on full-ring app games which I suspect to be caused by massive collusion.
Also, the structure of HU poker fits my life vision a lot better: shorter & more intense sessions, fighting for lobby control, bigger winrates etc.
The structure of this challenge looks as follows:
Networks: Coinpoker, Suprema Union, PPPoker
Format: HU PLO 4-card, 5-card & 6-card with a strong focus on 6-card
Stakes: 96 & 160 on Suprema, 100 & 200 on Coin & PPP at first, then 320 - 800 on Suprema and 2/5 + 5/10 on Coin
Volume: min. 1000 hands / day across 2 or 3 sessions of 60 - 120 min each with one off day / week
The primary goal of this challenge is to grow, not just as a HU player, but also as a person and especially as a coach.
I am currently in the process of making both tactical poker & mental coaching my primary profession.
This is why I am going to share a whole lot of content from this challenge publicly.
That includes not only hand histories and highlight videos in this thread, on the PLO MM discord or my youtube channel, but also me publishing very private
mental game documents and exercises which are going to help me stay sane during this challenge.
Also I am going to use this thread as a sort of diary to share with you the daily ongoings in the mind of a HU PLO player.

Played a little warmup session after a 1-month break away from the tables today.
Interesting line I took in this hand:
Flop:
SRP, we stab/fold for 66% with a pair, gutshot / straight draw blockers + diamond blocker; villain calls
Turn:
we turn trips with weak kicker + no prober backup; I decide to pot control and check back with the clear intention of turning my hand into a bluff if diamond rolls over.
I feel like we are either far ahead or semi-dead on this turn. In this case, I like to keep the pot small, and also give my opponent some room for bluffing on blanks.
River:
villain does in fact pot the river 9 which gives us a full house. We snap call and do see the two pair that villain turned into a bluff. Nice play by him, but also exactly what I wanted.
Also, lol at that flop continue of his.
for off-the-table study & optimization I am going to use the following tools.
PLO Trainer for 4-card & 5-card pre-/postflop solutions
PLO vision for 6-card preflop ranges
for quick & easy session review, I am going to use pokerstudy.ai
This is an AI tool that has recently been published and is still under development.
It is able to analyze hand histories and give you precise information on certain parameters you feed into it.
In this example, I asked the AI how often I called river bets & raises during a particular session.
The immediate output was eye-opening: people just truly almost always have it lmao

an absolute disaster of a start to our challenge, love to see it
would be too easy if we could just not run into top of the range all day right?
basically not much worth sharing, just piss poor variance all day
#1: fish continues with trash, gets it in with bare dummy openender, hits the clean 6 twice with 16%
#2: painful fold but this is just never ever a bluff, very top of the range yet again
#3: giga cooler vs whale, the first
#4: giga cooler vs. whale, the second: feels great to ship the nuts + redraw, but not when you end up losing regardless
of course he insta left the table right after this one
extremely tough to have a start like this, especially since it was a rather slow day up until the final session of the day where everything just fell apart instantly
going to take a walk and review the session in more detail later
the one thing that stands out once again: I keep losing money by calling down rivers too often
I might as well just fold 100% on river when I dont have it
we are going to be back for more tomorrow, hopefully this is just the poker god´s way of hardening me right off the start lol

given the absurd bad run today, actually not the worst result honestly
