I'm not sure how the fit is gonna end up though embiid probably gets injured somewhere and misses half the season but there's only one ball to go around. Jaylen definitely didn't want to be the C or D option.
Seriously just asking, but doesn't he have a better chance if he just takes that money to stay w/ Lakers vs joining philly? Uprooting your life for a team you have no connection to for vet mins, when he would even take small pay cuts for the Lakers is crazy imho.
