Spain was clearly a far superior and deeper team and Messi was one game away from the boot at his old age. Definitely agree you can't expect him to carry it again on his own.

& he's also been playing for Norway since he was 14 & was playing for their senior team at age 18 iirc, which was before he left Norway to play overseas.
