Brybaby in a heated discussion w officials live on USA right now

fighting a 2 stroke penatly they are about to give him

just seen the video when he first gets to the ball

Brybaby def improved his lie

he needs to give it up and stop acting like a Brybaby

havent heard yet, did Rambo get a penalty for huckin his club into the tee box?

Have got a friend who lives in London and the heat they've been getting has been insane the last month. It's made the rough way too wispy and easy for the pros.

I'm a bit further south of London and yeah its been very hot and humid probably for about 2/3 weeks iirc. Not sure what its been like up north near Liverpool but I imagine quite the same.

Just a warning.

Hopefully Bryson withdraws.

Bryson just needs to get on the phone with Trump. This will get straightened out quick.

Do we think irrigation will make it to euroland any time in the near future? Munis looking better than that course.

i think AC is first on the list

links courses are fantastic when they are baked out like that.

IIRC, Newport CC in RI, where the 2024 US Senior Open was held, only had green side irrigation. When they held the US Am there in the 90’s it was worse than this week.

just turned on the Open and they are showing ROARS' approach to #1

and the flag is as limp as a spent male xxx actor

the second round had 69 rounds scored under 70, the most in a single Open round ever. this isn't what i sign up for when i tune into this event

Entertaining bunker shot by Bryson. I pulled 2 hamstrings watching it.

Amazes me pro golfers are incapable of playing away from the hole when it's obviously the correct play.

pro golfers play away from the hole all the time

the shot Brybaby took on was the only shot he had in that spot

This old pro and his tight hammies would have putted the ball into the middle of the bunker with zero risk leaving an easy up and down.

gjge Herbert

You're telling me he couldn't have stood win both feet in the bunker and played the ball away from the hole and gotten it over the short wall of the bunker?

i wouldn't think so

there'd be no backswing that direction

gjge Herbert

Well his name is Herbert which makes anyone with that name an auto loser.

Really thought the broadcast underplayed how well Burns played today. He probably would've shot 8 under again if he had Fox's conditions.

i agree w you cowboy (after looking at the video a second time)

he took on too much risk

i'm w you in that he could've gotten into the bunker and played to the left of this pic

that said, i'm not sure what was to the left of this pic

He definitely evaluated doing that. He took a stance aiming that way and the probably realized how bad that could be.

Was listening to some talking heads and they were discussing the Open and one of them said Bryson was in danger of incurring a 2 stroke penalty for too many yoga moves on a single hole.

I giggled.

what does the FOX say!

lol the caddie better go back and get that putter

He deserves the win just based on pace of play.

fantastic finish by Fox...incredible
