Re: divorce, it's a bit of a cliche to say it's expensive because it's worth it, but in your case it sounds pretty bang on - the best of a bad situation for sure. Glad to hear you're getting on well with the full time parenting; as I recall, yours are all a bit older than mine, so hopefully spreading their wings at least a little bit right now and none the worse for wear having to watch you go through all that.

And re: relationships, I've definitely had a few instances where the wives (including my wife) stop being friends and that just ends the male friendship, which I unfortunately kind of understand. It still sucks, though.
