Had Trooper never found Christina, it would be likely ELD could have taken Trooper under his wing and taught Trooper the Nomadic Method.

If Tim has ever been close to suicidal, those close to him should step in and get him help. Also, if he has these tendencies, the LAST thing he should be doing is putting his life on the internet. People that legitimately care about him (if he'll listen to them) need to step in.

As others have said, Tim's life is barely comfortable. And we're not sure how close to being broke he really is. But he has no choice now. He has to keep going because he has no other options that don't involve working for "the man." That could change if/when the IRS ever comes calling, but that's another thing for another time.

He's made his share of mistakes. We all do. But he made his life and choices public fodder, and if you want adoration/respect/views/money, you don't get to cherrypick what comes at you in that exchange. He gets ridiculed because he arguably makes really dumb decisions, doubles/triples down on them when pointed out and calls people haters (and worse). He's had plenty of chances in life to get better at poker and other things and told people who legitimately wanted to help him to buzz off. These are his decisions - and they come with consequences. And he has to be a big boy and take some ****ing responsibility for once in his life.

At one time, almost everyone in here wanted him to become successful. The issue is that when you're just a complete ******* to anyone who's even remotely constructive, you lose that support. For good. He's a living embodiment of insanity - doing the same stupid crap over and over again expecting a different result.

Trooper is way too stubborn to ever consider suicide. He'd rather defiantly live out his remaining years being genuinely miserable and bitter than give the "haters" the satisfaction.

The real reason Diesel believes people lie about their stats is copium for his horrible win rate. There's no way people are making $40+/hr at 1-3 $500. Nope. So why get better and not play like a nit when the variance will be through the roof! Might lose two buy ins in a session!

Nomads require large quantities of milk and cheese to keep their bones strong for long nomadic walks up and down the strip.

It wasn't surprising when he was on the Strip sidewalk saying he had his laundry in his car ready to go to the laundromat(but then realized he forgot his $1 reloadable laundromat card in his room) that he went all the way back to his room for it rather than just spend another $1 at the laundromat for one.

Can you blame him though? When you eat beef hearts with rice cooked in a rice cooker in the toilet, any kind of seasoning is going to help.
