I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

AI is telling me that freedom fuel is privately owned so it appears I am NOT missing anything. Let me guess, AI is wrong and you two geniuses are right that freedom fuel is govt run?

but but "AI" is never wrong.

Of course the thing is privately owned.

The question is where the cheap gas is coming from. Venezuela?

It's actually worse than government run. This is a brand new company with unclear ownership, being touted almost exclusively by the president himself, with a price point literally in tribute to said president, almost assuredly utilizing a yet undisclosed subsidy to achieve said price. It's presenting the guise of a Mamdani-esque company that is helping citizens, but in reality is just another fleecing of taxpayer dollars.

But it's a private company, you say! It just somehow operates at an unsustainable price point that undercuts other gas stations (that already run on razor thin margins). Definitely nothing fishy here, just a normal company that loves Trump, setting their prices at a level that would run them into the ground almost instantly without some sort of backdoor deal for assistance.

You would have crucified Jimmy Carter for his peanut farm, but you're totally fine shoveling this bullshit down your throat. Keep gagging, piggy.

AI also says this.

Freedom Fuel Network stations, heavily promoted by the Trump administration, sell gas at an aggressively discounted flat rate (e.g., $3.47/gallon). How they make money remains a mystery, as industry analysts estimate these prices could cost operators hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in lost margins.

You'd have to be retaaded to think Trump doesn't have his fingers in Freedom Fuel. You can tell it's Trump just by the fact that it's all E15 gas.

India has mandated E20.

Trump: "They were gonna have a nuclear weapon within two weeks had I not hit them with the nuclear."

This is the guy bah thinks is fit to serve as the POTUS.

Can't think where he got that info from...

Holy tin foil hat.

Trump has said a lot of companies are great or that people should buy their products/services such as dell, Walmart, oracle, micron, intel and apple. Do you think trump secretly owns these companies too?

If you think a company temporarily setting a price of their product in tribute to trump is shady wait until you hear about how meta, uber, Airbnb & chevron donated millions to his campaign.

Yeah, setting a price point of product below what is profitable longterm is completely unheard of. Uber, Lyft, Amazon, Facebook, Tesla, Walmart and Spotify have never tried to do this in an attempt to gain market share/ publicity.

AI also says this.

Im seeing like 20 gas stations in one of the biggest swings states selling gas at at a cut of like 50 cents or something. If they are taking a loss of about half that, they are really only getting hit for a few million over year or so for a pretty epic marketing campaign.

Maybe they are offloading some **** fuel, but this probably ends up working well for the GOP for w/e cost they do take - if they even do take one.

...What would AI say about spending $5 million to promote a new brand if that $5 million created nationwide attention and brand recognition?

It wouldn't surprise me if he adds in a diner to sell his Trump steaks and wine and a gift shop for the sneakers and gold coins at a premium.

People getting uppity about cheap gas prices is peak TDS. You can't make this stuff up.

AI is telling me

That explains it all really.

gee, it's almost as-if every MAGAT is a complete ****ing idiot...

Don't hide behind cute little quips. If there is something you believe in just come out and say it. I know that didn't work out well for whatthejish, but maybe you will have better luck.

Go ahead and say you think freedom fuel is tax payer funded or govt run or whatever you believe.

Odd you need more explanation right after the answer was given to you. Though not surprising considering you need AI to do the thinking for you.

Ai slop but you wonder why someone would question Trump promoting such a mysterious company formed in 2026?

The true ownership of Freedom Fuel Network, LLC remains publicly undisclosed. It is a private company registered in Delaware on June 23, 2026, operating a network of 25 discount gas stations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.Key details regarding the network and its operation:Corporate Secrecy: The legal team filing trademark documents and the registered agent (Corporation Trust Company) have declined to identify the company's owners or principals.Station Operation: Freedom Fuel describes itself as a network of independently owned service stations that license the Freedom Fuel brand. Many of these locations previously operated under national brands such as Sunoco, Shell, and Valero.Administration Stance: While the White House and President Trump have publicly promoted the stations for lowering gas prices, officials have stated the administration holds no financial or operational involvement with the business.Real Estate Background: Property records indicate at least eight of the participating locations are owned by affiliates of the asset manager Blue Owl, though the firm has stated it has no say over the tenants' business decisions.Ai

Probably that it is stupid when you sell a fungible product in a small regional market.
