British Politics

Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.

I've no interest in doing so.

Which in no way means agreeing with your method or the specifics of you judging the value of people's lives or the consequences of their deaths.

The consequences iof her death weren’t being discussed, and are unclear anyway as we don’t yet know the circumstances of her murder.

You do remember this is the person in government who, among other things, supported the policy of chaining and handcuffing pregnant prisoners in hospital?

So you're no longer saying "It's indisputable that when an influential bigot dies the world benefits."

Good. We agree

The world certainly benefits in EV, if you’d prefer it stated that way.

TIL as long as "The world benefits in EV", then the death of people you believe are bigots is justified.

by jalfrezi

The difference being that you defend the right of Israel to kill tens of thousands of Muslims

No I haven't

by jalfrezi

who you believe are bigots

No, you called people with certain views towards gay people bigots, not me.

by jalfrezi

yet are horrified when someone kills a bigot from the far right

I was equally horrified when Jo Cox and David Ames were murdered. Unlike you, my compassion for someone's death extends beyond their political views.

by jalfrezi

because you are a hypocrite and a racist

Sticks and stones

by jalfrezi

whereas I don't defend anyone's right to do that to a single person

In English pls.

by jalfrezi

The whole forum knows you as Al Jalfrezi/Jalnazi, so you should probably have stopped digging a while ago.

Its ok, I did expect a thick weirdo who doesn’t know the difference between GMT and BST to fail to grasp that stating that someone’s demise is plus EV is not the same as saying that you want them dead.

Poor Elracist. Maybe go back to bed so you’re more alert when rage scrolling at 3am becuse your life is such a dysfunctional mess?

by jalfrezi

your life is such a dysfunctional mess?

From the guy who spends Xmas day every year ranting about Jews.

by jalfrezi

Despite being able to say what you like too, you can’t provide any mitigating support for the monstrous Widdecombe.

It's a technical correction for you. I'm still of that view that it's just unpleasant sillyness.

For many, one follows from the other. I'm usually one of the few arguing against such utilitarian views. Some idiots might even say that means you prefer the world to be a worse place.

Farage on the murder: "I don’t think it pays at this time to speculate"

Farage a few seconds later: "One theory doing the rounds is that it was a burglary gone wrong. But a car went onto the drive at approximately 12.25-12.30 on Wednesday. She had done one interview in the morning… She was due to do another one at 1pm. So if you were a burglar, would you literally drive your car onto someone’s drive?"

Odd for him to do something withour payment.

It depends on the case. Obviously it's a lot easier to support the removal of some -EV people than others.

Take Elracist for example. His life is -EV for the world, yet his incessant stupidity is such fun that I'd find it impossible to support his removal.

I've witnessed murder and I don't find it amusing.

I’ve witnessed the immediate aftermath of a fatal crash between an overcrowded minibus and a police jeep, and no it’s not funny.

Yet here you are, arguing yourself into a corner against everyone that people have "EV" and removing those you consider to be -EV makes the world a better place, which is literally making the case for eugenics/genocide.

The post you quote literally said that I don't support such a hard utilitarian line. I'd make an exception for some fascist leaders but not many others.

I don't know why it's hard for anyone to understand why you might be glad that someone's dead but also not support their murder.

You've probably been up too early too long and are sleep deprived again. Even you can't be this stupid.

Edit.
I see a second suspect has been arrested, who's also white and British. Your runbad continues.

Farage's net approval rating has dropped to minus 27, according to Opinium, though of course that's national, not Clacton-only.

Devon & Cornwall Police seem to be looking at a very odd crime. By the sound of it, the suspect's car was identified from doorbell cam and its movements traced from traffic cams. Don't know if the mistaken arrest was due to some initial ambiguity over the doorbell footage.

The current suspect is claimed to have left home in Rotherham around 7am, driven all the way to Dartmoor, battered an elderly lady to death in her kitchen around 12.30 and driven back home to Rotherham. Very strange. Anti-terrorist police have been consulted, but they're still saying there's no political or terrorist motive.

All the same, it doesn't seem to be an irate local builder she was refusing to pay till he made good his mistakes, or anything like that.

He has a brother in Devon and apparently has learning difficulties and is a loner whose father died last Christmas (they shared a house).

Classic first level thinking.

Owing to new evidence, the inquiry is now being led by counter-terrorist police.

Farage has until 4pm Friday to decide whether to put his arse where his mouth is and stand for election, or chicken out of a potentially humiliating defeat to a dustbin by claiming it’s too dangerous now.

The video of him rehearsing his walk to place a wreath at Widdecombes memorial aren’t a good look either.

What we do know from the past few years is that Farages relationship with honesty and the truth is about as impressive as Elracists and diebitterandtwisteds (which is why they voted for his policies of course).

A “highly placed source” had told the Daily Heil that Widdecombe’s family “don’t want her death hijacked for political purposes”, and were “very uneasy” about Farage attending the scene of the investigation".

Cue the despicable Allison Pearson:

Ann 100% would have wanted public tributes from her party and she would have been touched by Nigel’s beautiful tribute today near her home...Reform loved Ann and Ann loved Reform. Her family should want what Ann would have wanted.

Talking of terrorism, Counter Terrorism Policing has arrested 12 people as part of an investigation into an extreme right-wing terrorism plot linked to a suspected threat targeting an Islamic event held at Shrubland Hall, Suffolk over the weekend.

Arrested:

• 27-year-old man, Surrey

• 35-year-old man, Greater Manchester

• 31-year-old man, East London

• 42-year-old man, Essex

• 42-year-old man, Essex

• 33-year-old man, South East London

• 29-year-old man, Surrey

• 27-year-old man, Ipswich

• 48-year-old woman, East London

• 82-year-old man, Surrey

• 55-year-old man, Surrey

• 60-year-old man, Surrey

I'm sure that Elracist will be here any minute demanding the ethnicity of the arrested.

Meanwhile, the equally despicable Richard Tice has changed his X avatar (not that he's seeking to make political capital from someone's murder, of course).

The next Chancellor is likely to be a former barrister, who studied law, and who became an MP at the age of 29.

Jobs for the girls and boys, regardless of knowledge or ability.
