Honestly his 3bet size is where the problem started, he has just under 20 bb. A 3 bet out of the blinds there should be 3.5-4x the open, so 900-1m. But you can't 3 bet to a million and fold after putting in over 40% of your stack, he should have just jammed the 20 bigs pre in general it gets called much wider. That's what Nick just assumed he would do.
If his 3bet of the size he used gets flatted, he has an spr of 1 left.
But then we get 4 bet, call and get one of the cleanest flops and still fold, crazy, even weiss couldn't believe miller had a pair

Basically this. Miller was hoping for Weiss to fold, and when he re-raised Miller simply forgot AI was the best play.
At the time I thought he was putting on a show to get to next pay jump. I put his odds of folding at 1 in 1,000.
People get nervous (understandably so) when playing for millions of dollars. I like to think I would never make that type of mistake, but cant say I blame them.
After he used a smaller size for the 3 bet, I think it was the non-all-in four bet that threw him off. If weiss 4 bet jammed pre I think miller likely calls.

Happened again after I made that post. He got jammed into holding AA/KK/KK and won them all in not that long of a timeframe. Easy game.
Recently watched the ESPN footage and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. They mostly only captured the hands where I'm doing some goofy bluff that failed or folding the best hand. They didn't show the hands where I 2bet bluffed river for my tournament life after flop went 4 ways or double barreled the monotone board with air in a 3bet pot. There was also a really cool hand with Alex Foxen where I triple barrel bluffed him. After figuring out he was considering calling me with ace high I most likely got outplayed range-wise, but it still would have been great for TV especially with the verbal things that changed the dynamics of the hand at the beginning. There were so many cool hands that were just not shown.
Why did Brown not lead out small post flop with AA on that dry flop?
Boos maybe senses weakness and raises, and you got a decent chance to double your smallish stack.

They can't show everything and with 3 tables plus needing some filler stuff they're going to miss a lot of your hands but yeah I wonder when we see some boring hand then they switch to a table and clearly carnage happened that we didn't see is annoying. I don't know what the process is.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much, because I got to be on TV which is super cool. I just wish that my poker abilities were better showcased, because the hands shown are me basically getting owned lol.
Agreed. You might not have seen the youtube comments, not very positive but reflects on what ESPN chose to show.

One of those spots I think someone was tanking for pay jump but not close enough to one to warrant it. One player tanked 15 minutes (we only saw him bust on the outer table) but at least he was on the exact jump and didn't get it.
It is annoying to be watching the tank versus action at some other table.

Since it’s on a delay, I never understand why they can’t make sure they show the bigger hands. I don’t get how they miss big ones. It’s not like they have one camera
Different ways to do it obv but post editing on the fly I think they would need to carry 3 raw feeds for each of the featured tables. Def more expensive, prob working on a budget.
