New fast food discussion/review thread

OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

CFA spot the cow game starts tomorrow!
Play and win a free waffle fries.

Can you win more than free waffle fries ?

I played it twice and won free waffle fries both times.

I didn't spot all the cows either time.

I'm wondering if you spot all the cows, you win more ?

Not that I will ever spot all the cows.

Cows go moo.

I haven't fast fooded in a bit but visited Rick this morning. Was very pleased to see sausage burritos reduced to a very reasonable $1.50 each.

Turns out I only got one free waffle fries.
I went Chick-fil-A today, used the free waffle fries reward,
played the game again, and got nothing.

Are you in southern California? Free strips on Friday. I'm using my fries with them.

Spaced on the CFS from KFC this week (Wed only, they say). Did anyone try one, for science?

going to the mets game tomorrow (later today)

i've done the research for top tier food choices.
and i've got The Need for Feed.

Sorry to hear you're subjecting yourself to the torture of watching the Mets. Hopefully the food is good.

I had one of these yesterday, not bad at all. Probably my first McD's burrito in 15 years or so.

top tier food choices for watching two bottom feeders

They won “best stadium food” 2 years ago

Taco Bell restaurants are pulling fresh ingredients from the menu as a fast-growing parasite outbreak linked to explosive diarrhea spreads across multiple states.

I found this amusing. No Way! So they're blaming it on a parasite now?

Surely they'll be reducing prices to compensate for the missing ingredients, right? Right??

This is what my friend said about Dominoes:

“Dominoes is like a 1 nightstand.. sounds really good before and during, and after u regret ur decision.”

So what did you have at the ballgame?

If you say the pulled pork sandwich with nacho cheese on it. I'm renouncing my SuperBad fan club membership.

i had their mozz sticks which were pretty good, and besides that nothing noteworthy
wish i did a boosted SGP for red sox to win, thought of doing one the night before, then forgot

Too true. It's wonderful while you're eating it, but the heartburn/reflux is ****ing brutal. I last had Domino's a year ago and couldn't sleep for two nights due to the BURN.

Just like they did when they took away green onions...probably two decades ago.

Subway in Canada serving up foot long all beefs. Was going to pass but reviews are apparently really good. Will be interesting to have on italian herbs and cheese bread.

Oh my goodness, that meal is cheaper than an ordinary Sonic hot dog alone! And it's in Canuck pesos as well!

Burgerville did me dirty today. Never again; go there at your peril.

There's such a thing as TOO MUCH ONION

First "real" job (after paper route) was "courtesy clerk" (bagger) at the Biltmore (ritzy) Safeway in Phoenix. One time a lady came in wearing only a crocheted pool coverup. Basically yarn around holes. But she wasn't wearing anything underneath! I had to look twice (4-5 times!) to be sure.

Many years ago I was visiting a buddy in Phoenix. We were driving around and saw a sign for an open house, so we decided to go in. It had big gates and you couldn't see the house from the street. Turned out to be 4500 sq ft and, in today's dollars, was priced at $5 million. LOL, if my buddy and I combined our salaries, we'd need ten more of us to make the payments. We told the RE agent this, but she was happy to show us the house anyway. It was nice to see how the other half lives. This place was on the edge of the Biltmore area, and we cruised around looking at mega-houses like you do Christmas lights.
