Yikes guys. I lost a lot of chips today, but I ended the day with about 35bbs and will probably have 30ishbbs going into tomorrow. Can't sun run every day I guess, but tomorrow is a new day and even though I suck ass at stacks less than 100bbs I'm still grateful that I was even to get as far as I have. It's still not too late to make a comeback and win the whole thing either. O

You are still in the tournament and that's all that matters. When u were up you remained stoic and weren't giving tells. When you lost that huge one, every time they showed u on TV you looked unsure of your decisions and figet a lot during your action(no hate or shade, just purely an observation that I can see and rewind on television). All those "pros" I felt were picking up on it. It didn't come off as day 1a gitters. Hopefully you got some good rest last night, eat you a nice big breakfast so you're not full and bloated but have enough fuel in the tank to remain astute and focused. Your are our champion in this thread and we are all rooting for you!!! Blessings

If you told yourself last week that you'd be going into Day 6 with 30 bbs you'd be thrilled! GL keep going!

This is the correct way to look at it.

Keep it up, Godson! It’s all gravy from here on out, so just focus on making each decision and more importantly, have fun. IME, you’ll play and feel better if you find the joy in just being in the spot.

I think you guys are right about giving up information on hands. Definitely one of a my weak points that I need to work on and I appreciate the feedback. I don't think they got some of my cool bluffs that got through on TV which is too bad, because there was a hand where I tripled with QJo and another hand where I had A4s and my tournament life was at risk. Maybe it is a blessing in disguise though, because now the other players won't know about it.

Either way though, I am still in the tournament and got really good sleep last night so I'm ready to tackle another day and hopefully build up a nice stack.

I bought the ESPN subscription to watch previous hands on break, but every time I try to I get these stupid ads. Now that the event is over I've tried to use the app and can't even see the whole thing. Ugh.

You could always use a VPN and use YouTube in incognito mode. The livestreams are all on there for me on the official WSOP channel from the UK.

Good luck Godson, it only takes one double up and everything changes.

Keep playing your own game.

You have already talked with Foxen like he was your buddy, that means self-reliance. Stone face is not the only way. Tells, reversed tells, make your pick.

Try YouTube, and search "winamax". It is the free version of ESPN+ coverage, but announcers speak French. 100% free.

My pick is Trayner to win it all.

All about that ace?

I don't like the way Will Givens talked to me like he is better than me makes me angry. Will Givens you are an obnoxious jerk don't you ever talk to me that way again.

Gonna guess he is better than you

Crazy givens has not shown up yet. He had over 9 mill yesterday, dusted off 1/3 of that getting silly yesterday and now is not there. Just wild to me

cracked me up that not only is todd brunson not enough of a name to get a feature table but his graphic was a bracelet he got in 2005. Then I realized that's the only one he's won.

todd brunson has ONE bracelet and is in the poker hall of fame? What the ****

Masato Yokosawa would actually be huge for the international community if he made it to FT

there are a bilzerian other unwise examples of nominative determinism

commentators talking about waiting for a pay jump when they are absolutely nowhere near one

call turn c/r on KT52 two clubs just to fold river cause it's a king and you leveled yourself with aa on day 6 against a guy who bluffed all the time on stream yesterday who is bluffing, oh that's gonna sting him forever when he sees it.

Was he folding a river club too? Just hoping he wouldn't bluff again I guess.

well last year was the world series of incorrectly hero folding why not do it again

by wheatrich

A table is straddling on day 5 of the main. I don't know I could do that.

You mean blind raise?

And wouldn't this be against the influencing action rule?

I am no expert on tournament NLH, but if you think he is bluffing or semi bluffing the turn and you will be faced with a tough river decision on a bad river, which there are actually many, any club, T, K, Q, J are actually not great, it's prob better to just jam turn, yes you lose some value against bluffs but picking up the 1 mill plus already in pot is great. Plus he probably calls with enough hands that are behind due to pot odds.

I agree if you're just going to get scared and fold river you're better off just shoving and hoping you didn't run into a set. Seems like an amateur who just didn't know what to do and you get that in the main.

Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler came in second place and had the lead for most of the battle. Broke my heart.

I don't think he'd get in now. There's quite a few in there like that.
