It would be massive failure for Giannis to only get 1 chip with Luka and AD, but it isn't a failure to only get 1 with Middleton.

The same applies to Jokic.. Jokic and AD/Luka would be expected to win many chips... When there are two top 5 guys on the same team, a dynasty is expected, such as Magic/Kareem, Kobe/Shaq, or Durant/Curry.. Accordingly, 1 chip for Lebron and AD/Luka is pathetic failure... He lost as the favorite twice, and was lottery or 1st Round loser 5 times, while getting swept a ton, despite having AD or Luka!!.. It's horrific underachievement.

Lebron is the only player in history that mostly lost with 3 different perennial favorites, since he was gifted perennial favorites on 3 different teams and mostly lost each time.

History shows that Jordan earned preseason favorite status in 92' by winning without it in 91', while Lebron was gifted preseason favorites on 3 teams and mostly lost each time.

For the record, I said that Kobe was mentally-strong for playing great in the face of ACCUSATIONS, and Fidstar lied about this by saying I gave Kobe props for actually raping someone (not just being accused - calling Kobe a rapist) and then playing well after it.. If he's going to include Shaq (guy who waxed and waned motivationally) and Wade (guy who couldn't stay healthy) for 6 straight titles, you gotta include TMac if peak is the M.O.

For the most part, he's just listing guys that won multiple rings.

If Michael Jordan didn't exist (so wasn't on another team that could beat the Bulls sans Jordan) then Drexler and TMac should be in there above Shaq and Duncan which wouldn't have enough creation around them if you swapped them out for MJ.

I'd maybe have Barkley on the list too, as a midpoint between them. Might as well have SGA also.

But yeah, point holds that MJ only had to focus on scoring and had an elite construction around him during a weak era of opposing teams. That's the only reason the Jazz were a tortoise challenger, full of steady eddies that outlasted the elites of the 80s fading.

Where's the elite construction around Jordan? Steve Kerr? Horace Grant? Bill Cartwright? Bj Armstrong? No disrespect to these guys but they are not elite. And Pippen i believe was drafted and if he didn't play with Jordan we probably never know his name today imo. No disrespect to Pippen but he was able to thrive because all the defenses attention was on Jordan so he was always wide open. He may have made some all star games maybe. But he wouldn't be known as the best Robin to Jordan's Batman in nba history. No disrespect to Pippen just sayin things were easier when the defense was triple teaming Jordan. Maybe Pippen would have done better on his own. But we'll never know.

Whoever it was Jordan would have made them famous. Jordan was good at basketball.

Jordan didn't make the varsity team i think in his freshman or sophmore year. He musta felt like he wasn't good enough. After that things changed.

No, these are all top end draft picks that Jordan played with in that same.time period. He didn't turn them into legends.
