British Politics

Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.

Ann Widdecombe found dead with head wounds at her home.

26 year old British man arrested locally. Police say it’s not currently being treated as politically motivated.

We know it can’t be someone with a dark skin or Elrazor and his ilk would have been here by now complaining about immigrants yet again.

Based on that assumption, we can assume they are not a jew either.

Police have said it's a white male.

Except that I've never made negative comments about Jewishness (because I've never held negative opinions on the subject), whereas you casting aspersions on dark skinned people and immigrants.... well let's just say this thread, like you, is full of it.

We should probably cut you some slack in light of the grief you must be experiencing for the unexpected death of a fellow outspoken bigot.

In another blow to the racists hoping it's a naturalised immigrant from "ze EU", Iain Duncan Smith has said that "there's some suggestions that this may have been somebody who's quite close to her.

Elrazor drawing to a four outer that he's a naturalised immigrant from "ze EU". His Midlands local authority should probably issue a flood warning in case this turns out to be the case and he gushes with uncontrollable excitement.

Farage seizes the event for political capital.

That is presumably how police knew where to find the suspect so quickly and were able to say it wasn't terrorism and it wasn't political. Very sad business whatever it was about.

And Farage is a jerk, obviously.

Seems like Jalfrezi jumping on tragedies to beat the drum about his political views rather than show any actual humanity about the event at hand operates in much the same way as Farage.

And I suspect neither has any real idea who repellent that is.

*except for the 1000 or so posts in the Israel/Palestine thread.

Oh, the irony.

This is an internet forum and I am not a politician seeking to gain from someone's death. Hopefully that gives you the clarity you clearly lack.

Widdecombe was a Reform bigot who hoped that one day medicine might provide a "cure" for homosexuality. Her death was horrible and undeserved, but the world is a better place now.

I see the white, British suspect has been released without charge, so maybe you'll have something to proselytise about when they do find the murderer.

by jalfrezi

the world is a better place now.

You're disgusting.

It's indisputable that when an influential bigot dies the world benefits. That's not an argument in favour of murder or capital punishment, but it is a fact whether you like it or not.

Black armband on?

That's entirely contingent on who gets to decide who the bigot is, and for what reason - was "the world a better place" after the Charlie Hebdo massacre?

Says ElRacist lmao...

I dispute it's a fact, let alone an indisputable one.

Just sounds like rather unpleasant sillyness.

It looks as if they'll have to go back to the forensics and start again now. If it was a random crackhead intruder it might be difficult unless someone who knows the killer comes forward. If the motive was political it's not going to make people with that kind of politics look very good.

Elracist gushing in his panties again in the hope that the murderer is an immigrant, or even someone born in Wales who he can call an immigrant because of the colour of his skin.

Jalnazi when he realises that "The world is a better place" without the thousands of Palestinians who held worse views on gay people than Ann Widecombe.

If you can show that someone as influential and toxic as Widdecombe made positive contributions to society that outweighed her poisonous rhetoric and policies let's see it, otherwise I'm staying with her time on this planet being a net negative.

The difference being that you defend the right of Israel to kill tens of thousands of Muslims who you believe are bigots, yet are horrified when someone kills a bigot from the far right because you are a hypocrite and a racist, whereas I don't defend anyone's right to do that to a single person, Elracist.

The whole forum knows you as Elracist, so you should probably have stopped digging a while ago.

say what you like but even that is such a massive cry from the so called indisputable fact

Despite being able to say what you like too, you can’t provide any mitigating support for the monstrous Widdecombe.
