2026 World Series of Poker May 26th - July 15th
oh ****ing hell
godson takes a brutal runout to lose a bunch
Kyle Mart has been pretty quiet on stream but he's still in with plenty of chips.
A table is straddling on day 5 of the main. I don't know I could do that.
Lol wtf is wrong with these people
The telecast is showing things out of order. Like the good old era.
yeah dunno why we wouldn't stick on the table where we got a guy shoving 83o, 74o showing the cards and getting away with it. and we got misclicking 3 bets
This other table is gonna be slow, everyone got awkward stacks to do anything else atm for the most part (except the chip leader)
that guy is going to sober up at one point tomorrow and go wtf did I do
Todd Brunson extremely quietly somehow 58/174 with 3.8M.
people play f'ing weird, dude you don't 3b then fold to the shove getting 4 to 1 or whatever. and he folds
and it was the best hand.
A3s on T73 on spade he bets/reraises then folds when he had odds to call against almost anything the main event....
Yikes guys. I lost a lot of chips today, but I ended the day with about 35bbs and will probably have 30ishbbs going into tomorrow. Can't sun run every day I guess, but tomorrow is a new day and even though I suck ass at stacks less than 100bbs I'm still grateful that I was even to get as far as I have. It's still not too late to make a comeback and win the whole thing either. Obviously the possibility is lower, but I still have a good feeling. I bought the ESPN subscription to watch previous hands on break, but every time I try to I get these stupid ads. Now that the event is over I've tried to use the app and can't even see the whole thing. Ugh.

well, there is one hand that happened on your table earlier in the day you will be completely wrong on what you thought each guy had. Can't beat yourself up too much you hold up against yokosawa you're in great shape still but that's tournaments. You're still in fine shape, do your thing tomorrow.
also there is a crazy table at night with one guy just shoving random things until he busted and it's chip leader not giving a crap and just firing chips in. Tournaments are wild.
You got at least 12 orbits Kyle, you’re fine.

If you told yourself last week that you'd be going into Day 6 with 30 bbs you'd be thrilled! GL keep going!
As expected, many casualties on the notables front. Here is an updated list going into day 6.

Todd Brunson - Nepo baby
Shaun Deeb - waffle crushed imo

Antonio Galiana - 2x bracelets
Will Givens - Bracelet + $4M winnings
Daniel Hachem - Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!
Farid Jattin - High stakes pro

Andrew Yeh - Bracelet winner, 4th in the PPC last year
Masato Yokosawa - Japanese pro/YouTuber
Zdenek Zizka - Bracelet, backgammon endboss
Several notable female players left. At least two 2P2ers still in it.
There are numerous other random bracelet winners left and probably a lot of pros I've never heard of.
I don't know if "good for poker" matters much in 2026, but I guess if you were picking the ideal final table for media purposes then it might be Masato, Caitlin Comeskey, TJ Reid, Todd Brunson, Hossein Ensan, Sean Winter, Shaun Deeb, Dutch Boyd, and Daniel Hachem. Surely some new names will be minted and new players will write their legend in the coming days (and weeks).
I'd squeeze in our godson as the tenth finalist.

Impressive run! 35 BB is still a sh*t ton in that structure.
I know it's easy to be armchair quarterback when I can see the cards, but I think you are giving away a lot of your hand strength by your mannerism at times. Maybe something to work on for tomorrow.
Espen Sandvik is an extremely strong Norwegian reg, sitting on 5.3m. For me the most underrated player left in the tournament, havent seen anyone mention him. Probably best overall player in Norway, considering skill in Mix Games and NL combined.
Gogogogo brianr!
77/174 to start Day 6.
Imagine being Shaun Deeb and your gift in life is just crushing tournament poker sick life
gl TheGodson, you're sitting next to another Kyle who's a reg at my local casino in Glasgow so i'm rooting for him but feel free to take chips off the other 7 chumps :p
