2026 World Series of Poker May 26th - July 15th
I would like to see them add time banks and shot clicks on day 5 in the main. Entirely too much tanking, especially when not facing action. In a smallish pot do we really need to tank for 60-90 seconds to choose a bet size
Lol yeah I feel like I am 1 for 100 on 3 barrel bluffs. I agree the decision point is the turn, if you call turn you should prob call river barring certain cards. Recs are far less likely to 3 barrel there and I think sometimes there is too much hope a pro, especially an aggressive one won't fire that 3rd barrel. The problem is foxen doesn't care about pay jumps and is under
people try and make hero folds against these guys which is hilarious. They need to just simplify things and realize they aren't going to outplay Foxen etc so if you don't at least take a stand with reasonably good hands you're absolutely gonna get run over.
There was a hand where a guy just called Foxens raise with QQ. foxen had q5s.
885
foxen bet/call
turn6 c/c
river queen
queens full bets small
foxen raises and then calls the 4 bet
The look on Foxens face when he sees the queens is pretty classic as he realized this guy won't even 3b QQ he's not 4 betting them river as a bluff.
I remember that hand, foxens call was like you play too much high stakes man, random guy ain't having worse about ever. You see that from the high stakes players here and there making calls that might be fine at their level but against random guy are just a punt.
ESPN coverage of the WSOP is worst ever. They suck
My main gripe is paying $$ for the subscription and they still have to cram their 2 minutes of ads in there whenever they can.
I've not been following this year because of the world cup. Is the nightshift with nick and ali broadcast on youtube?
Yeah they only schedule it on their youtube 10 mins before it goes live. I hope the FT will be available in the UK.
Foxen has been on the feature table for what seems like the entire tournament. I get it but it's a little unfair to him.
this qq vs jj hand is off the rails
edit--reminds me of childs vs yang in 2006 or whatever that year was
What's the issue? Sometimes mine doesn't seem to work and I need to access it from a link parison posted (espn.com/watch or something)
Foxen hand pretty fun. Tough decision!
Why would you use the ESPN coverage when its on youtube for free?
yeah the Foxen flopped set w 22 hand was incredible
and having Nick break it down moment by moment makes it must see TV
anybody surprised Dunst shoved his FH on the river?
like Comeskey said, where are the bluffs coming from
Yeah doesn't come up in US, ESPN must have only signed US deal I guess
Are Arnaud Mattern and Wesley Fei still both in? They have legit beef so that'd be funny to watch them at the same table.
