President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

Is there any person who wants to go to bat for a Democrat who inspires them with policy that addresses a half century of continuously expanding inequality ?

Or is all just brow-beating the rest of us into conformity with your slower motion collapse ?

If things have to break .... is it better to prolong the reckoning or get it over with sooner ?

apparently the good argument against "least-worsting" does not involve a mass murdering mercenary rapist with a Nazi tattoo.

Look, the Dems nominated the wife of a rapist in Hillary. Someone who had her buddy / media attack dog Sidney Blumenthal trash Bill's victims in published articles. She called Monica Lewinsky a bimbo.

If Bernie had any cojones, he would have attacked Hillary for her role in enabling her rapist husband.

Trump had the balls to bring 4 of Bill's victims to a debate vs. Hillary. He played hardball.

Somehow the whole rapist thing gets washed under the rug when it comes to the neoliberal royalty.

Who is defending Bill Clinton? Lock him up with the rest of the Epstein crew.

Is anyone beside myself a little annoyed when the Democratic leader in Congress who is responsible for party tax policy has a billionaire husband buying stock options in Amazon ?

Is that the image you want your party to represent or are you content that the conflict of interest is not as obvious as it is with Trump ?

I'm just pointing out the wonderful things the Democratic Party establishment presents its voters with and browbeats the voters for not supporting.

Trump actually gives his supporters what they want. They want a Christian theocracy. They want someone to destroy pluralism. They want scapegoats to take out their anger on.

Democrats just want the absence of Trump and settle for policy which increases the demand for someone like Trump.

I may not survive the breaking. I have no illusions about any immunity.

Isn't it wonderful how all of this stuff comes up at the perfect time (after the dem nomination) to ensure that the status quo Collins gets to keep her seat ? Why does this raped woman wait until this perfect point in the election cycle to ensure that the establishment representative and her team of big money handlers gets the best chance to keep that seat ? The Dems know that

lmao progressives never cease to amaze

Yes. But maybe not the way you think.

‘I didn’t even know what happened on Jan. 6’
Ex-MAGA supporters on leaving the movement

Only when Trump started hurting them financially did they see the light.
Everything else he did to hurt the country was AOK with them.

oh to be clear, I wasn't really asking for the explanation of why, I was trying to find out if you came to your senses about how wrong that was.

Sorry, I (mistakenly) thought you posted in good faith. Bad read on my part.

100% good faith. Did you come to your senses or not?

To be clear, I'm asking if you:

1) still maintain that this girl is safer in the center of a mass of white supremacists than in her own neighborhood

and

2) still maintain that you wanted to come to the defense of a group of white supremacists here publicly.

This is a misrepresentation of what I said, which you would know if you read what I actually wrote.

2) still maintain that you wanted to come to the defense of a group of white supremacists here publicly.

I never 'defended' the white supremacists, which you would know if you had read what I actually wrote.

Maybe this instant replay will help:

by geezerchess

1. Because the 'undisclosed neighborhood' is presumably somewhere in DC, which is a very dangerous place.2. The white supremacists (i.e. members of Patriot Front) were en route to their Independence Day Mostly Peaceful Protest (TM Pending). Harming the girl in front of a Reuter's photographer would probably not only be bad PR but would almost certainly land them in jail.3.

I clearly explained why behaving themselves on the train was to their own advantage and selfish interests given their 'mission' for the day of marching in DC.

by jalfrezi

Obviously a blatantly racist survey. Most of Africa wasn't even polled at all. Was Tommy Robinson in charge of this sham?

Right, so random black people on a train with dozens of white supremacists are being irrational (or maybe you'd prefer the word uppity?) if they feel uncomfortable being surrounded by white supremacists because they should know that they need to march that day... you know, because the KKK never committed crimes against blacks on march day.

Hint: The reason why large gatherings of the KKK is intimidating to random black people going about their day is because they have a history of lynching and committing other violent crimes against black people during their marches while being masked. These new iterations are latching onto the coattails of that reputation.

You are either trolling or are amazingly dense. (Or both!) Of course it's not irrational for a POC to be afraid of a white supremacist group in their train car. I never said or implied otherwise, you nitwit!

Of course black people would feel intimidated by a violent hate group like Patriot Front. Nobody anywhere in this thread has argued otherwise, you blockhead!

Make it a great day!

Except for less than a half-hour ago when I voluntarily left the Canada thread for good. Please try to keep up.

You're not making much sense here.

1 - I pointed out the obvious implication of the photo.

2 - You said the black chick is likely under a bigger threat in her own neighborhood because the group doesn't want to mess up their hair before a march.

3 - Now you're saying she has a right to feel intimidated and threatened because these groups have a history of violence against blacks, which brings us back to square one, no?

Of course she was has a right to feel intimidated! Why wouldn't she be intimidated? I never suggested otherwise. And she exhibited great poise in the situation. (At least based on the published photo.)

Do you realize by saying, "Hey, bro, she's the safest person on the train" and "Hey, bro, the truth is she's more likely to be beaten, raped, or murdered when she gets off the train" is invalidating those feelings?

Dunno, maybe you were glazing and simping for these masked dudes just to be argumentative.
