I wonder if Katie Morgan survived Day 2.

weren't you getting your "citizenship card"

I saw Scott Seiver today. He was at a different table. Very chatty guy by the looks of it.Midway throughout the day I managed to get a top 10% chip stack and they move me to a table with a bunch of people with half the players having an even bigger stack with previous million dollar wins, rings, and braclets. That was pretty intimidating especially since I'm a 200NL cash game r

Good luck to you. I'm rooting for ya buddy!!

I think the general economy / Crypto is the biggest factor poker tourneys in general have been lower this year, I almost felt that they set this line artificially high. There was no liquidity on this contact for a while.

How does this bode for poker celeb crypto casinos like Monkey Tilt?

Try to find Steven Chidwick) bad run for him

He's at 60bb which isn't in that bad of shape. Only a bit less than the average stack at 87 bb. The guy in 8th place was at my table Kevin Ordet. He was scary to play against. I have a feeling he's going to make it far. The way he stares at the flop it feels like he's a human solver. Hopefully I get a softer table going into day 3.

Ordet seems to be a typical profile for a post Covid FTer. https://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player....

Your post reminded me of the story about a guy who played a satellite with Moneymaker and got the chills when he stared at him with those Oakleys. Went up to him on Day Two and told him “I think you’re going to win it.”

A young guy I didn’t know named Kevin Bott from Idaho won the ‘big’ tournament in Wendover in 2003 and then finished 14th in the ‘04 ME with me rooting him on here from before it started. Sometimes you just get that feeling.

Raymer, Yoon, Freddie (I used to play with his cousin Mustafa in Wendover all the time), & Chidwick would all be fun to see.

As would a 2p2er, so GOGOGODSON!

9015 entries so far with about 2.5 hours left to late reg

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. I'll likely be spending most of the day drilling my preflop charts for 15bb, 10bb, and 5bb play. A couple times at the table I just blanked out and couldn't remember them so I kinda want to get that down better and today is a great opportunity to do that. Fortunately my stack hasn't really dipped much below 50bb if at all which is great, because my best skill set is at 100bb poker.

Just wanted to mention the pita wrap I had at the Istanbul Mediterranean was pretty good. I got beef lamb and all the vegetables with the house sauce. I ordered that on my previous rest day. Yesterday for the dinner break I got Subway which isn't really exciting, but I knew I'd likely be able to get the food and finish it in time which gave me great peace of mind. Plus it's cheap and Vegas is getting pretty expensive. I think tomorrow I'll try out some birria tacos at Dirt Dog when dinner break comes. I was passing that by on my way to get Subway yesterday and that seems like it wouldn't take too long to prepare so I'll likely be able to get the food and bring it to my room and eat it at a comfortable pace.

I'd like to also mention that in the eatery section outside the Horseshoe there are these sprinkler things from above that shoots cool mist on you as you walk by. I don't know why I think that is so cool, but I haven't seen anything like that and for some reason I appreciate it.

A bit over two hours of registration left for Day 2D and there are 9045 players total.

They had these all over the place in the city when I traveled to Montenegro a few years ago and it was amazing in the heat. No idea why that isnt more popular in hot places.

And GL on day 3!

Zdenek Zizka has been a bright spot for my otherwise mediocre ODB fantasy team. I noticed from sweating him throughout the summer that he seems to run up a stack in almost every NLHE event he plays. It's impressive. He is pretty high in the day three counts with 500k+ chips already. Super long way to go and obviously it doesn't mean anything yet, but that's the dark horse I will be watching on day 3 tomorrow.

You've never heard of or seen misters before? I guess I live in AZ, so they are common for me.

I have not heard of misters. They are pretty cool though.

It appears registration has closed and there has been a total of 9,207 entries. So if 15% of these people get paid then I'm guessing the bubble will burst at around 1,381 or 1382 players left.

The WSOP live app hasn't updated the payout structure yet.

I never heard a single mention of Phil Ivey entering our busting and can't find him throughout the abysmal pokernews updates. Did he not enter this year?

yep 9207, all things considered.........pretty good turnout IMO

Gale Boetticher from Breaking Bad playing against Deeb. lol

Foxen with 353k and everyone else at the table under 100k. lol
