Trump won narrowly in 2016 via the rust belt trifecta of WI, PA and MI.
Hillary didn't set foot in WI during the general election. Trump was running to the left of her in those states based upon their jobs getting shipped away by NAFTA which Bill Clinton entered into.
It's simply sad when people can not acknowledge the political flaws of the Dem Establishment as being part of the demand for Trump.

Kamala Harris nearly lost a statewide race for AG to a Republican in deep blue California, winning by 1 pt. That's not easy for a Dem to pull off such a poor performance.
