Finally received a mission and it specifically excludes my main stake (10nl). Several players in the Coin discord are reporting the same thing. Mods there are justifying it & telling us to submit tickets to support if we think its an error (it is) but the staff there acts like this is intended to force us to play higher stakes in order to keep our rakeback.Splashpots are v
It’s not a mistake, missions are big brain attempt to move money up the ecosystem.
The mission is to make the next limit up softer by a lot of players accepting the mission and moving up to be the fish at the next limit. And as a bonus they generate more rake for coin. Winner winner chicken dinner, for coin that is.
Also we have to keep the rewards ever shifting so no one can ever tell how much they are raked.
Yup just got the email about HUDs and trackers being completely banned now. Coin will be indistinguishable from GG soon except without all the recreationals.

Coin should also consider a rebrand……. Be hard to come up with a more unappealing name than Coin Poker, sure grinders don’t care, but we need recs.
Surely with all the really smart peeps there , they can come up with something more appealing and marketable than Coin Poker, maybe work on it while on break from “improving “ the rewards cluster****.
90% of players now have Missions, the devs have confirmed - the remaining 10% are soon to follow, players can also send their usernames to support or DM me here if they still don't have Missions tomorrow please and I'll escalate it. Just so we're clear: I'm the player that claimed I received the 22% rakeback mission; the problem is Coin made it impossible for me to complete it UNLESS I move up in stakes. If I move down to an "eligible stake" (5NL) it becomes 17% rakeback because I would need to play 130,000 hands in the next 27 days to complete it.
If this is a bug, it needs to be fixed immediately. If this is by design, then it should be the beginning of this new rewards system being exposed as a manipulative tactic to force us into either increasing our volume at lower stakes OR moving up to higher stakes in order to keep the same rakeback we WERE ALREADY RECEIVING BEFORE THESE CHANGES.
There are other players in the discord who had their main game banned (PLO4) from the mission but they can play any other game (if that's the only game they play, why would you exclude it?). Then there's others who, like me, their main stake is 10NL and its excluded from the mission eligibility. What logical explanation is there for doing this OTHER THAN manipulation?
Mods & Staff members in Coin's discord are actively pinging other staff members for an answer to why a handful of players have their main stake and/or game EXCLUDED from the eligible games to complete these new missions. It's also been ~48 hours since I submitted a ticket to support asking for an answer & have received nothing. It's concerning that NONE of Coin's staff knows why we had our main stakes/games banned from these new missions & they are pointing fingers up towards the executive offices.
Do they just want their daily grinders to quit?
After you guys spent the last 3 months doing everything you could to get us to come back to Coin?
Normally I play every single day but I'm not playing another hand on here until I see some sort of logical explanation from an official Coin source.
They took away the 15% AND watered-down the Leaderboards by allowing more people to place AND slowed down the frequency of the splashpots tremendously..... all to give us missions where our main games/stakes are not eligible for rakeback.
Someone please make it make sense. I'll be here waiting.

Bear in mind that at some tables the money was returned, while at others it wasn't... anyway, I don't think the analysis they conducted was the best possible one. I don't believe the site has been handling user support correctly; simply replying isn't enough-they need to actually resolve the issues.
I guess you didn't read my reply to you yesterday but I told ya I had this exact same problem when I closed the Coin app while still sitting at tables & my money was never returned to my balance. I sent them screenshots of my transaction history showing "cashout pending" after 24h. Support replied to me within an hour (meaning they didn't even look into it) essentially telling me there was no problem. They're useless.
I got lucky & there was an update rolled out the next day & that forced my tables back open when I opened the client THEN I was finally able to close them out & my funds were returned to my balance.
Coin has taken a direction of becoming a hybrid of Ignition & GG. When you have an entire payroll of discord mods & staff that don't even know what's going on because their executive offices are silent; that's a very bad sign. We already have a site we all collectively hate & still play on it due to lack of better options so giving us another clone of it isn't going to make up the investment you spent on buying the poker BAAZI GUI.
Clickout Media (the owners) need to wake up.
I don't play at Coin (yet), and I don't have the data, but at this point in the industry, having a 5-8BB/100 winrate after RB for the top 3-5% player is a blessing.
It was obvious they WOULD decrease the rakeback at some point, since the old system was TOO GOOD for the players, which also means, it was TOO MUCH off a loss for a site that is spending so much on marketing.
Complaining is a way to communicate, but in my oppinion players are being too ungrateful (not a surprise for poker community).
I hope the site and players can find a middle ground in how much rake should be paid, since as we all are, so fed up with GGpoker raking the game to death.

Your response deviates quite a bit based on what you have in TOS:
7.11.3 If, during KYC or verification, a customer is found to be resident of a Restricted Jurisdiction, or to have used the site from one, the company may block the account and void transactions as provided in the Terms.
After 4 days, support finally gets back to me claiming they added my main stake to my mission. Logged in to see all they did was cancel the mission. So now I have no active mission (rakeback). Amazing work!

June I raked 2850, got 2848 coins accumulated.
Rewards earned for the month was 2418, and then i got 56$ from missions. not sure if they are auto included into rewards or they went str8 to my cashier??
but anyways, this is like 85%+ RB no?

This is the email they sent me after I waited the past 3-4 days for an answer. Then when I login to check on it, the mission has been canceled and I don't have another one LOL so now I have ZERO rakeback other than the new diluted leaderboards which is obviously why I'm not playing anymore when I used to play every single day.
I've been in your discord all these days tagging admins & staff asking for an answer or fix; nobody has one.
I have posts in this very thread before all these stupid changes were released that were praising Coinpoker was being so much better than GG/others. Now I regret posting those.
This is the 2nd time I've contacted support about a problem & both times they responded back to me acting like there was no problem or they solved the problem when they did literally nothing to attempt to fix it.
- What's the issue going on over there with these new (terrible) changes, jspill?
- Why do you have a handful of players with their main stake/game excluded in these new missions?
- Why is your support team taking 3-4 days to respond to me pretending like they solved a problem when all they did was cancel my mission leaving me with ZERO rakeback?
I would love to get back to my daily grind on Coin but your staff is refusing to allow me to do that.

No explanation given so I'm left to assume this was some sort of error. I made a huge stink about it because it happened to several others as well in the discord (of which their issue haven't been fixed at the time of posting this) combined with nobody able to provide an answer combined with support sending out 'all fixed'! emails when they didn't actually fix the problem.
I'm not sure who fixed it but I know jspill & the CP rep here helped so thank you both.

Can you please make whatever stakes you want to play. I can't be the only one who is busy multitabling and somehow you open the wrong stake up with multiple things going on hard to notice right away at all times.

This and sit out next BB would be two huge quality of life improvements. Honestly, the whole lobby filtering/sorting needs a better design, along with easier waitlist functionality.

Hate to tell ya, but it is already in the software, and was in the Poker Baazi client. They have purposely made the "sit out next BB" option not visible/usable.
I have some things to do, but will show proof later, along with the steps of how to get there.
