I think the point is about the motivation, and how the ascribed motivation doesn’t match up to the motivation for taking the action. Namely that he sent bombs because it was required by treaty, or for my view he sent bombs to Israel for the justified part of the war, not the unjustified (which I disagree with the idea that we should send arms to Israel)

maybe. but thats so absurdly weak that its obv why he wont defend it. every single person with half a brain and a twitter or instagram or tiktok account knew exactly what Israel was using those bombs were for.

Assume that Country A sells weapons to Country B. As a general matter, in that scenario, does Country A become just as responsible as Country B for whatever Country B does with those weapons? Do factors like Country A's ability to foresee what Country B will do with the weapons, the time between sale and use by Country B, etc., matter in assessing Country A's responsibility?

I am not asking for the purpose of defending the sale of weapons to Israel during the current war. You obviously could make a strong case against those weapon sales no matter your answer to my general questions above.

I don't see the value in removing the context. Maybe you can find some hypothetical case where the US hands bombs to a nation and is totally shocked when those bombs are exploding in refugee camps, but that's not the case for the arms being shipped to Israel.
