2026 World Series of Poker May 26th - July 15th
This hand just happened in the 5k 6max. Blinds 30k/60k Lucky Chewy opens to 120k Kyte raises to 1.2MM leaving himself 40k back, Chewy calls. They both have AT btw. Flop QJ6 all hearts check check. Turn 6x check check. River 3x check Chewy puts Kyte all in for 40k more into a 2.5 million chip pot and Kyte folds.
well kyte *shouldn't* be ahead of anything so I can see why he di
This was fantastic as DW was rooting for it to happen (no offense to Kyte he said but he doesn’t like the one chip back)
1 chip back needs to be banned. bad for the game
Aww, isn't this special? Rich found a thread he could obsess about his obsession in.
Being a 1 to 60 dog? Doubt it. With all the bluffs and really bad highs. And an A. Nearly bust is the right thing. Feel poker. Chip and chair is more or less a myth.
LOL Kyte not flipping it in on the turn.
Friend of mine deep in the $10k stud hi-lo. I’m guessing no way to watch this even if he makes the FT?
He had 4 chips back (but less than BB)
But it was on a payjump and his fold did earn him a $9k bump.
I missed this last week, this is great, Foxen giving it back to Kahbrel and tilting him. lol
And who was it in here that tried to say you couldn't **** with Kabrel? Hes clearly just a troll but that doesnt mean hes not capable of being tilted.
Also, that 1 chip guy is an idiot. You're still gambling dude, just put your money in on the flop. Im sure he max stalled preflop and on the flop. These pussies trying to squeeze out every tiny bit of "EV" are so pathetic. If its youre time to bust man its your time to go. Glad lichtenberger made him eat a sack of **** and I hope he showed him (if it wasn't on TV)

That's better. Kind of eating the cake and having it. Tried to do something with the AT. Fold equity and possibilty to hit. Earrning yes, but potentially losing a lot too, both by being outplayed and losing the shot at the tournament. Fold could be the play, not a monster.
If 1 chip is not allowed, then they do 2 chips. If 1-2 chips banned, then they do 3. There is no reasonable way to make a rule regarding this issue. More importantly, it is a valid strategy that isn't even an angle. So why should it be prohibited? As happened here, it sometimes works out to their detriment, just like many other valid strategies that sometimes work and sometimes don't.
Just so everyone can watch the video...
Yeah, who cares about the 1-chip trend. The other player can always just make you decide whether to put it in, as LuckyChewy did here. If there is any concern, it would be the opportunity it creates for collusion, but as Greg points out there's no reasonable way to stop people from deciding how much they want to bet.
Results oriented!
It really isn't, though. It's exactly like flat earthers. Overwhelming evidence and proof brought to them and they just go "no, that's not real". It's the same thing
If it's as open and shut as you claim, then it should be straightforward for you to explain to everyone how having one Y chromosome becomes a man. You know, in terms of organ development, brain development, hormonal factors, other developmental factors, and gender identity within the brain. And also what sex someone is that carries XXY trisomy, and people in which some of their cells have a Y chromosome and others do not.
Back to the streaming coverage: I imagine the 100K PLO high roller will be streamed at some point. Will there be any other non-NLHE streams?
I would always put him all in with one lousy chip more. Fold equity costing nothing.

It’s 100% snap fold preflop if you’re that concerned about the payjump. Chewy is never folding a better hand there.
Caitlin Comeskey shortstacked but still in the 10K Stud8 with 13 left after finishing 4th in the Ladies.
