I am saw the theme of the parade and yes we need our leaders to attend these so the LGBQT community can someday have the right to marry, adopt and not be fired from a job for being part of this group. Oh wait they have all these rights

Uh yes the green party and NDP leaders regularly attend pride parade and yes Doug Ford has attended multiple pride parades over the years. Poilievre is definitely the odd duck out here.

Of all of BC's parks one park was closed for a week in june to members of the particular first nation whose territory it is in so they can do their traditional activities. You can agree with that or disagree with that. But to suggest it is banned "white folks" is pathetically stupid.

I don't know that you "need" to. But I think if a certain person has steadfastly refused for their entire political career to attend a single pride event of any kind, it sends a political signal about what their values and priorities are. I think that matters a heck of a lot more than the obsession over what type of beer Trudeau drinks post politics is.

You can be furious over land acknowledgement, but that doesn’t change how stupid it is to call a temporary restriction to the local indigenous tribe a ban on “white people” when in reality it is a ban on anyone but for that tribe.
