What happened to Charlie Carrel’s business?

Charlie’s glad that he’s a man.

He's prob too busy working on his charity to solve.. what was it, world hunger?

I think that was the charity who rugged him so whoever was involved in that, solved their own hunger at least.

The thing i don't get about the recent disagreement between Charlie Carrel and Owen/Prodigy is:

1. Where is this home game that Charlie runs?

2. If you're a rec, why would you want to play in this game if it's in the UK? You can play @ a casino if rake is not an issue (ie if it's high or it's reasonable, you just want a game that runs.) They are located in most cities all over the country.

3. AFAIK poker in England (because I am from there. And i have lived here over 40 years) is not built on this 'home game' format.

I've been around geezers my whole life. I don't want to hang out with Charlie Carrel. And I don't want to gamble with Owen/Prodigy either, he's (to the best of my knowledge) ****ing good at nlhe.

Because casino games are too small. there are very few places in the UK where you can play bigger than 2/5 regularly, and even when you can its reg filled.

Home games in England are massive, and run a lot more than you may think. especially higher stakes

why would anyone play poker at all? haven't you fools watched lock stock two smoking barrells. rigged games are everywhere.

I can still beat rigged cause I get lucky. don't play against players who know the river card 😀

I believe term is effective altruism. No need to accuse Charlie of something that was effectively in motion, verbally at least.

My recollection of events are, Charlie made his coaching site. Did smear campaign against other sites/coaches. Kakitee interviewed him, calling him out about same thing.

Doug Polk drama happened. I forgot the beef, but the massive hate both got probably resulted in making changes. Digital baptizing.

To now Prodigy enters the timeline. I don't follow them. I just remember these big events.

I heard he made billions from it and retired on some exotic island
