USA Goes to War Against Iran
Time for a dedicated thread to the war.
How long will it last and what will be the probable outcome?
lots of interesting stuff going on now.the Quisling Vichy Lebanese govt attempting to override the MOU and formally agreeing to allow Israel to remain on Lebanese soil is probably the most consequential. I admire the restraint Hezbollah has shown and hopefully they keep their weapons firing at Israel and not traitorous comprador regime, even though those guys definitely deserv
If the Lebanese government deserves it why are you hopeful Hezbollah don’t do it?
I don’t think it’s hard to see why the demand is for Hezbollah to disarm when they have been so instrumental in pulling Lebanon into this war.
you dont see why bc you support Jewish Supremacism and think that the Shia in the South and ultimately anyone should just submit to Israel and accept being oppressed.

I don’t see how any of that logically follows but I don’t expect an argument from you because you like to assert things without justification.

It's quite simple. If Hezbollah gives up its weapons then the Israel will never leave Lebanon and the residents will never return to their land. This assertion is based on history and Israeli statements.

Historically, Israel HAS given up land for peace.
Notably Egypt did not give up its weapons.
Actually they are not allowed to purchase or develop modern weaponry. So ya, they kinda have.
Oh jfc you are gonna talk about the UN and international law now?
I didn't say anything about international law. You did.
Lebanese residents are not allowed to return to their homes in South Lebanon. Guess what? There is no International Law against it. And yet, they are still not allowed to. Weird how that works.
In what sense are they not allowed to go home? In what sense are they not allowed Shebaa farms? The Syrians not allowed the Golan? The Palestinians not allowed their homes in the West Bank? Gaza not allowed an airport or electricity or fresh water or medicine? Ya man, who could ever know... Total mystery.
Iran just had a drone attack on a Panamanian ship in the strait. The US just hit them back.
How many ways can Iran tell the US that no deal will ever work?

Some of these are about military/strategic positions of Israel and some of these are just bullshit. In the case of the position of the “Amerisraeli empire” to Lebanon, it’s Hezbollah that they don’t want having advanced weapons systems. They haven’t yet had a posture against the Lebanese state itself developing them.
If I was in Lebanon I’d probably welcome the alliance between the legitimate Lebanese government, the US, and Israel. I guess because I’m a “Jewish supremacist”.

bc you can't see yourself as a Southerner. and bc you are extremely subservient to Jewish Supremacism. like, I wouldnt even be surprised if you would actually willingly give up your house to the IDF and thank them for blowing it up.

Imagine how a friendship between the countries would bolster business relations. Tourism both ways would go through the roof. Both could use a giant boost given the downturn in tourism in recent years. I’m still shocked by the lack of concern about Hezbollah essentially taking a sovereign nation hostage.

I don’t think they are blowing up houses that aren’t helping the terrorists. The Christians are doing fine.
