Been away from poker for some years. Bumhunting wasn't exactly my thing, so was a winner at the second lowest real mo
Had a long hiatus, but got back a few days ago to the ranges. Really feels things have matured, finding new ways to memorize, simulating preflop in my mind. Also thinking about how possibly to deviate from basic. Will be interesting to see the skill level when that time comes.
24/313 in the first tournament, somewhat deserved imo. Much still to do, at least having an edge.
Popping in to say hi. No playing or studying since last post, but got inspired today, yet again. Just check the ranges, man, and get back into the grind! Somehow I always wake up when getting back, not to be ignored.
Think I'm finally ready to play. Had to compress my starting hands, they will be in the ballpark anyway. Right now thinking about playing one tournament per day, could average one hour.
I really came in 4/182, encouraging. It took a couple of hours. I'm always in from the start, getting half an hour of somewhat deepstack play. Nice mix, as the skills increase towards the final table.
Refined my push-fold strategy yesterday, especially heads up. You don't want to blow your shot at first place, if it appears.
One tournament a day feels a bit much now. Maybe 3-4 a week?
