Do you really think that the problem facing people with substance use disorders who are overdosing on streets is...a lack of a sense of purpose? just a 'lil pep talk about purpose and boom addiction problems cured! I am all for government $$$ going to remedy the situation but when you tell me the issue with homelessness and addiction is a lack of affordable housing your nuts it has nothing to do with affordable housing .

Hey I do not mind juneteenth its one day and ending slavery was a good thing now Pride month is the dumbest thing out there a whole month gimme a break . As well you force it onto people as MLB is doing and other companies. The LGBT community can marry, adopt, and have the same rights married coup[les have. I don't obsess over the minimal limit of visibility LGBT people are permitted to have like right wing culture warriors do, but the kind of "participation" I've seen locally is like there are little pride flags up on the banners along my town's main strip. THE HORROR.

Well yes I have seen it recently were MLB players were forced to wear Pride stuff and all they did was write a bible verse on their caps. That was taboo by major league baseball . Christians have a different interpretation of the rainbow and I respect that .
I also respect Danielle Smith banning pride flags in schools.

School put a rainbow colored tutu on my 4 year old son and took pictures with his classmates in the name of pride month.
Now I personally don't have an issue with it because he's 4 and to him it's fun, but can we try and not pretend this **** is being shoved down our throats?

Why is that an important distinction? Especially given the horrific history of LGBT being actively told it was a shameful act (by people like you? right? aren't you religiously firmly against them? didn't you get repeatedly banned under your alts for this?), it seems completely appropriate to emphasize being proud of it.

You're actually making MY point I think. There is a fundamental difference between celebrating 'history' (i.e. how individuals in various groups have contributed to make the country a better place), and 'pride' (which is a focus on self.)

No ones having a meltdown were just discussing how stupid Pride Month is . I have no interest in attending a gay parade though I cant say I have attended a parade since I was 10 at Klondike Days
