President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
It's not egotistical. It's not about me. It's a general statement about the competition for power at the very top regardless of who is in the position.
But thank you for bringing another example of an ad hominem argument.
Of course it is egotistical. The gravity of the decisions that you would have to make if you were running the world would be enormous. If keeping your head attached to your body weighed more heavily on your psyche than the responsibility of making those decisions, that would say a lot.
I never claimed to have good social skills. I just have a good grasp of biology and history. I understand the root causes of extinction ad the fundamentals of human metabolism. The greatest extinction in Earth history was the Permian of 260 million years ago. A sequence of just 4 chemicals ...... sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and methane. The carbon dioxide a
you are supposed to insult me back dipshit
I'm curious Rococo .... have you ever contemplated doing anything courageous in your entire life ?
MLK Jr was a courageous man. He took on capitalism and paid for it with his life.
Why is it that all these guys all have sharpshooter snipers after them and trump only gets the drippy loser loners who can’t hit the side of a barn.
I'm not an important person. I don't represent myself as virtuous. I'm impermanent and my substance is destined for the recycling bin.
I'm animated by a passion for the survival of the human race. By compassion for the experience of the young people and future generations who will inherit the bag of **** that we're bequeathing them.
I am possessed by romantic notions of justice. Life without purpose feels empty.
yeah well i got a big ass dick

I've often wondered that myself.
The people shooting at leftists have dead aim and the ones shooting at Gerald Ford, Reagan and Trump all missed.
Why do bullets have so much better aim when they are targeted at the good guys ?

Charlie Kirk tho.
That dude hit a bullseye while clambering on rooftops. Grace under pressure.
Lol, everyone having fun?
Tried to nip this in the bud, but alas. I guess it’s all one big Nut Nut thread, now.
WTF does any of this have to do with Trump? Don’t answer that, we know it has nothing to do with him but you get no eyeballs in your own threads. Move it to a thread that all of these posts are on topic.

What is has to do with Trump is that he is the current desired agent among his tribal followers for deciding who lives and who dies as the world swirls the drain.
He just fills the niche temporarily.
When he departs, the white christian nationalists will rally behind his successor. But he's a tough act to follow .... not too many who are quite as naturally gifted in the area of cruelty and lack of compassion.
This post has nothing to do with the drivel of your prior10 posts here.
I'm trying to help people understand the biological utility of a personality like Trump and put his support into context. He's got a lot in common with Hitler.
That's your narrow perspective.
But it's an attempt to explain the legitimate appeal which Trump holds for his supporters.
I'd love for someone to explain their support of Trump which is not related to tribal warfare. He puts the bullseye on brown people, Democrats, non-American's and non-Christians. He pours fire on people's fears and incites them to anger.
In an interview with Vanity Fair after their divorce, Trump's first wife Ivana told the story of Trump having a book of Hitler's speeches that he would read in bed.
That's his role model.
He has complete disdain for democracy and wants to be an emperor. That's what his supporters want ... an emperor.

I would imagine that I have been approximately as courageous in my life as you or most other people here. My life is not nearly as precious to me as you might imagine.
The post-GOP Trump landscape is going to be interesting.
The USA doesn't appear to have the ethic homogeneity necessary for someone like him to follow in Hitler's footsteps.
I see the Mandami / Talarico emergence as a return to the example of FDR. There's going to be an alpha leftist that we're going to get behind. Bernie had the right policies, but he bent the knee.

I agree, but it is an odd criticism coming from you. You often seem to want an emperor, albeit a very different sort of emperor than Trump.

Your courage is not an issue for your imagination. You are the authority on your courage.
If you have something courageous in your past to share, feel free.
An example of something courageous Rococo might be taking an unpopular stance in your community and sticking to your conviction.
Taking shots at my character is incourageous. You're just jumping on the bandwagon because you see other people doing it. Conformity is not courageous.
Go ahead ... show some friggin' balls. Tell us how you would run the world if it were up to you. Take a stance on something you feel passionate about regardless of how you think other people will receive it.
